Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti apakah vlog YouTube Johnny's Communication Center memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat belajar bahasa Inggris di kalangan NCTzen di Indonesia. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode penelitian survei. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui media sosial X (Twitter) kepada sekitar 100 komunitas NCTzen yang masih bersekolah menengah dan menonton vlog Johnny's Communication Center di YouTube. Studi ini menemukan bahwa vlog YouTube Johnny's Communication Center secara signifikan meningkatkan minat belajar bahasa Inggris di kalangan NCTzen di Indonesia, dengan koefisien regresi positif sebesar 1,391. Hasil ini menyoroti potensi pemanfaatan media sosial dan idola Kpop untuk mengembangkan strategi pendidikan yang efektif bagi pelajar muda

English Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not Johnny's Communication Center YouTube vlogs have an influence on English learning interest among NCTzen in Indonesia. This article uses a quantitative approach and survey research method. The data collection technique used a questionnaire distributed through social media X (Twitter) to approximately 100 NCTzen community who are still in high school and watch Johnny's Communication Center vlogs on YouTube. This study found that Johnny's Communication Center YouTube vlogs significantly enhance interest in learning English among NCTzen in Indonesia, with a positive regression coefficient of 1.391. The results highlight the potential of leveraging social media and K-pop idols to develop effective educational strategies for young learners.
