Abstract

Transformasi digital telah membawa penerapan teknologi baru yang mempengaruhi berbagai aspek di lingkungan sekitar kita, termasuk dalam dunia bisnis dan teknologi. Braincore.id, sebagai perusahaan di sektor teknologi informasi, memahami pentingnya pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) sebagai kunci keberhasilan jangka panjang. Namun, media pembelajaran yang tidak terstruktur di perusahaan ini menimbulkan kesulitan bagi karyawan dalam mengakses materi yang diperlukan, menghambat proses pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, penelitian ini bertujuan merancang antarmuka pengguna (UI) dan pengalaman pengguna (UX) yang optimal aplikasi Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis website menggunakan metode User Centered Design (UCD). Metode UCD memastikan bahwa desain antarmuka (UI) dan pengalaman pengguna (UX) berfokus pada kebutuhan dan kenyamanan pengguna. LMS yang dirancang diharapkan dapat menyediakan materi pelatihan secara efisien, memberikan fleksibilitas akses, meningkatkan keterlibatan karyawan, dan mempercepat proses pembelajaran dan pengembangan skill karyawan. Penelitian ini melibatkan proses perancangan User Interface, implementasi desain, dan pengujian usability terhadap desain prototipe. Tujuannya adalah menghasilkan model desain LMS yang dapat diimplementasikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas SDM di Braincore.id. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi yang efektif bagi perusahaan dalam mengelola dan meningkatkan program pelatihan karyawan melalui LMS yang user-friendly dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna

English Abstract

Digital transformation has brought about the implementation of new technologies that affect various aspects of the environment around us, including in the world of business and technology. Braincore.id, as a company in the information technology sector, understands the importance of human capital development as the key to long-term success. However, the unstructured learning media in the company makes it difficult for employees to access the necessary materials, hindering an effective and efficient learning process. To overcome this problem, this research aims to design the optimal User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of a webbased Learning Management System (LMS) application using the User Centered Design (UCD) method. The UCD method ensures that the design of the interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) focuses on the needs and comfort of the user. The designed LMS is expected to provide training materials efficiently, provide flexibility of access, increase employee engagement, and accelerate the learning process and employee skill development. This research involves the process of User Interface design, design implementation, and usability testing of the prototype design. The goal is to produce an LMS design model that can be implemented to improve the quality of human resources at Braincore.ID. The results of this research are expected to provide an effective solution for companies in managing and improving employee training programs through an LMS that is userfriendly and in accordance with user needs
