Abstract
Selada (Lactuca sativa L.) merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman yang dikategorikan dalam komoditi hortikultura. Selada termasuk jenis sayuran daun yang mengandung mineral iodium, fosfor, besi, tembaga, kobalt, seng, kalsium, mangan dan kalium. Kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pemenuhan gizi terus mengalami peningkatan, sehingga permintaan selada juga mengalami peningkatan. Permasalahan lahan budidaya yang semakin berkurang menjadi kendala, sehingga perlunya teknologi modern seperti hidroponik untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Namun, perubahan iklim yang tidak pasti maka penanaman selada secara hidroponik membutuhkan modifikasi iklim mikro. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan yaitu menggunakan naungan untuk mengurangi suhu udara di sekitar tanaman Peningkatan produksi tanaman selada dapat dilakukan dengan peningkatan penyediaan hara tanaman melalui pemupukan. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh naungan, dosis pupuk daun, interaksi naungan dan pupuk daun terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada (Lactuca sativa L.), Hipotesis dari penelitian ini diduga terdapat interaksi antara naungan dan dosis pupuk daun terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada (Lactuca sativa L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan di greenhouse Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S) Hikmah Farm yang berlokasi di Jl. Kelapa No. 10, Tretek, Kec. Pare, Kab. Kediri, Jawa Timur. Lokasi penelitian ini memiliki curah hujan rata-rata sekitar 1625 mm per tahun, dengan suhu rata – rata 28˚C sampai dengan 34˚C dan terletak pada ketinggian 125 mdpl. Penilitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2022 hingga Januari 2023. Alat yang digunakan label sampel, timbangan analitik, alat tulis, net pot, LAM, paranet kerapatan 25% dan 50%, instalasi hidroponik sistem dft, meteran, TDS meter, pH meter, form pengamatan, kamera, klorofilmeter, pisau gergaji, gelas ukur, dan sprayer. Sedangkan bahan yang digunakan meliputi benih Lactuca sativa L. var New Grand Rapid, air, larutan nutrisi ab mix, dan rockwool, pestisida nabati, pupuk daun Gandasil D 20-15-15, NaOH dan CaCO3. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Petak Terbagi, dimana petak utamanya tingkat naungan terdiri dari 3 taraf, sedangkan anak petaknya dosis pupuk daun terdiri dari 3 taraf. Adapun 9 pola interaksi yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga terdapat 27 petak perlakuan. Setiap petak perlakuan terdapat 30 tanaman sehingga total populasi tanaman yang akan digunakan yaitu 810 tanaman. Parameter pengamatan penelitian ini meliputi suhu, kelembaban, intensitas cahaya, panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, indeks klorofil daun, bobot segar tanaman, total bobot segar tanaman. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini akan dianalisis menggunakan uji ANOVA dan akan dilakukan uji lanjut dengan menggunakan uji BNT (Beda Nyata Terkecil) dengan taraf 5% untuk mengetahui perbedaan diantara perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terdapat beberapa kesimpulan diantaranya yaitu Adanya interaksi tingkat naungan dan dosis pupuk terhadap hasil tanaman selada, yakni naungan 25% dengan dosis pupuk dua kali seminggu menunjukkan nilai tertinggi hingga 24,62% lebih tinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Tingkat naungan yang berbeda pada tanaman selada memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap parameter pertumbuhan panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, dan indeks klorofil tanaman. Tingkat naungan 25% memberikan nilai tertinggi pada semua parameter pertumbuhan tanaman. Dosis pupuk daun yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata pada parameter pertumbuhan tanaman panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun dan indeks klorofil tanaman. Dosis pupuk daun seminggu dua kali menunjukkan nilai tertinggi pada parameter panjang tanaman, jumlah daun dan luas daun.
English Abstract
Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is a type of plant that is categorized as a horticultural commodity. Lettuce is a type of leaf vegetable that contains the minerals iodine, phosphorus, iron, copper, cobalt, zinc, calcium, manganese and potassium. Public awareness of the importance of fulfilling nutrition continues to increase, so that demand for lettuce also increases. The problem of decreasing cultivation land is becoming an obstacle, so modern technology such as hydroponics is needed to overcome this problem. However, due to uncertain climate changes, hydroponic lettuce cultivation requires microclimate modification. One of the efforts made is using shade to reduce the air temperature around the plants. Increasing lettuce production can be done by increasing the supply of plant nutrients through fertilization. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of shade, foliar fertilizer dosage, the interaction of shade and foliar fertilizer on the growth and yield of lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa L.). The hypothesis of this research is that shade and foliar fertilizer dosage influence the growth and yield of lettuce plants. (Lactuca sativa L.) The research was carried out in the greenhouse of the Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S) Hikmah Farm which is located on Jl. Coconut No. 10, Tretek, District. Pare, Kediri, East Java. This research location has an average rainfall of around 1625 mm per year, with an average temperature of 28˚C to 34˚C and is located at an altitude of 125 meters above sea level. The research was carried out from November 2022 to January 2023. The tools used were sample labels, analytical scales, stationery, net pot, LAM, 25% and 50% density paranet, DFT system hydroponic installation, meter, TDS meter, pH meter, observation form, camera, SPAD meter, saw blade, measuring cup, and sprayer. Meanwhile, the materials used include Lactuca sativa L. var New Grand Rapid seeds, water, AB mix nutrient solution, and rockwool, vegetable pesticides, foliar fertilizer Gandasil D 20-15-15, NaOH and CaCO3. The research design used was a split plot design, where the main plot had 3 levels of shade, while the sub plot had 3 levels of foliar fertilizer dosage. There were 9 interaction patterns which were repeated 3 times so that there were 27 treatment plots. Each treatment plot contained 30 plants so that the total plant population to be used was 810 plants. The observation parameters of this research include temperature, humidity, light intensity, plant length, number of leaves, leaf area, leaf chlorophyll index, plant fresh weight, total plant fresh weight. The data obtained from this research will be analyzed using the ANOVA test and further tests will be carried out using the BNT (Smallest Real Difference) test with a level of 5% to determine the differences between treatments.iv Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, there are several conclusions, including that there is an interaction between the level of shade and the dose of fertilizer on the yield of lettuce plants, namely 25% shade with fertilizer doses twice a week showing the highest value up to 24.62% higher than other treatments. Different levels of shade on lettuce plants have a significant influence on the growth parameters of plant length, number of leaves, leaf area and plant chlorophyll index. A shade level of 25% provided the highest values for all plant growth parameters. Different foliar fertilizer doses have a significant effect on plant growth parameters, plant length, number of leaves, leaf area and plant chlorophyll index. Twice a week foliar fertilizer doses showed the highest values for the parameters of plant length, number of leaves and leaf area..
