Abstract

Setiap film mempunyai alur ceritanya masing-masing untuk menarik perhatian para penonton, seperti halnya drama Korea Red Balloon yang menceritakan beberapa keluarga yang sehariannya selalu dipenuhi konflik perselingkuhan. Konflik perselingkuhan terjadi tidak hanya pada orang yang sudah menikah saja, pasangan kekasih juga tidak lepas dari konflik perselingkuhan. Banyak faktor yang melatarbelakangi perselingkuhan para tokoh, salah satunya adalah tidak tercapainya keinginan dari salah satu pasangan. Scene perselingkuhan yang banyak dimunculkan dalam film ini menjadi fokus penelitian dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui posisi perempuan yang dipandang dalam membawa dan menyelesaikan konflik keluarga dalam drama serial Red Balloon. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis resepsi dengan pengambilan data melalui in-depth interview untuk mengetahui pemaknaan penonton berdasarkan three hypothetical positions terkait perempuan yang dipandang menjadi penyebab konflik perselingkuhan. Pemaknaan khalayak terhadap informasi yang diterima berbedabeda karena beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi seperti lokasi tempat tinggal, perbedaan usia, dan lainnya. Namun, mayoritas informan termasuk dalam posisi hegemoni dominan dimana mereka sudah setuju dengan pesan yang disampaikan dalam drama serial Red Balloon. Akan tetapi, terdapat satu informan yang masuk ke dalam posisi negosiasi karena memiliki penafsiran sendiri pada beberapa pesan.

English Abstract

Each film has its own storyline to attract the attention of the audience, such as the Korean drama Red Balloon which tells the story of several families whose days are always filled with conflict over infidelity. Infidelity conflicts occur not only among married people, lovers are also not free from infidelity conflicts. There are many factors behind the characters' infidelity, one of which is not achieving the wishes of one of the partners. The affair scenes that often appear in this film are the focus of research in this study, namely to find out the position of women who are seen in carrying out and resolving family conflicts in the drama series Red Balloon. This research uses reception analysis by collecting data through indepth interviews to determine the meaning of the audience based on three hypothetical positions regarding women who are seen as the cause of infidelity conflicts. Audiences' interpretation of the information they receive varies due to several influencing factors such as location of residence, age differences, and others. However, the majority of informants were in a dominant hegemonic position where they agreed with the message conveyed in the drama series Red Balloon. However, there was one informant who entered a negotiating position because he had his own interpretation of several messages.
