Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh bukti empiris dan praktis tentang efikasi diri mampu memoderasi pengaruh digital technostress dan pengaruh sosial terhadap minat menggunakan tekfin. Penelitian ini juga memberikan bukti empiris tentang pengaruh digital technostress dan pengaruh sosial terhadap minat menggunakan teknologi finansial (tekfin). Penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling untuk menentukan sebanyak 404 responden, yang merupakan generasi milenial pengguna aplikasi tekfin dan bekerja sebagai karyawan swasta di Kota Samarinda. Generasi milenial di kota Samarinda merupakan penduduk mayoritas sebagai pionir penggunaan aplikasi tekfin dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: (1) Digital technostress yang terdiri dari techno-overload, techno-invasion, dan techno-complexity berpengaruh negatif terhadap minat menggunakan tekfin. (2) Techno-uncertainty tidak memengaruhi minat menggunakan tekfin. (3) Minat menggunakan tekfin berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku pengguna. (4) Pengaruh sosial berpengaruh positif terhadap minat menggunakan tekfin. (5) Efikasi diri memperlemah pengaruh techno-complexity terhadap minat menggunakan tekfin. (6) Efikasi diri tidak mampu mengurangi efek negatif dari techno-overload, techno-invasion, dan techno-uncertainty terhadap minat menggunakan tekfin oleh generasi milenial. (7) Efikasi diri mampu memperkuat pengaruh positif antara pengaruh sosial dalam meningkatkan minat untuk menggunakan tekfin. Temuan penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan referensi bagi pengembangan aplikasi tekfin menjadi lebih baik agar mudah digunakan, ramah pengguna dan intuitif sehingga menjadi sistem informasi keuangan yang inklusif
English Abstract
The objective of this research is to gain empirical and practical evidences that selfefficacy is able to moderate the impacts of digital technostress and social influence on the intention to use fintech. This study also provides empirical proofs about the effects of digital technostress and social influence on the intention to use fintech. Through purposive sampling, 404 millennials who use fintech applications and employees for private companies in Samarinda were selected as the respondents. Millennials in Samarinda are majority population and the pioneers of fintech usage in their daily life. This study finds that, first, digital technostress consisting of techno-overload, techno-invasion, and techno-complexity negatively influence the intention to use fintech. Second, techno-uncertainty does not influence the fintech usage intention. Third, the intention to use fintech positively affects user’s behavior. Fourth, social influence positively affects the fintech usage intention. Fifths, selfefficacy weakens the impact of techno-complexity on the intention to use fintech. Sixth, self-efficacy does not reduce the negative impacts of techno-overload, techno-invasion, and techno-uncertainty on the intention of millennials to use fintech. Seventh, self-efficacy strengthens the positive effect of social influence on the fintech usage intention. These findings can be used as a reference for fintech application developments to increase its ease of use, user-friendliness, and intuitiveness for becoming an inclusive financial information system.
