English Abstract
The quality of human resources is a key factor in the success of an organization. At Hasta Husada Surgical Hospital, patient satisfaction has been found to be low, as evidenced by Google reviews. The majority of complaints written in Google reviews are related to suboptimal service by employees, one of the causes being low organizational commitment. Preliminary observations and interviews with several employees revealed issues such as errors in providing diets to postoperative patients and mistakes in dispensing medication in the pharmacy department. These problems are due to, among other things, a lack of supervision, unclear instructions, and poor coordination between units. Furthermore, it was found that inadequate leadership behavior, work-life balance issues for healthcare workers (the majority of whom are Generation Z), and employee branding can influence organizational commitment. This study is a cross-sectional analytic study with 108 healthcare workers, mostly nurses, as subjects. Variables were measured using a Likert scale questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that leadership behavior, work-life balance, and employee branding have a partial and simultaneous effect on organizational commitment. The study concluded that the higher the leadership behavior, work-life balance, and employee branding, the higher the organizational commitment
