Abstract
Jeruk purut adalah tanaman yang sering dijumpai oleh masyarakat. Tanaman ini termasuk ke dalam genus Citrus yang merupakan tanaman penghasil minyak atsiri. Peningkatan produksi tanaman jeruk purut sangatlah penting bagi masyarakat dikarenakan tanaman tersebut memiliki banyak manfaat. Pada kebun percobaan BSIP jestro dilakukan budidaya tanaman jeruk purut yang kurang optimal. Kurang optimalnya peningkatan produksi pada suatu lahan pertanian dapat dipengaruhi oleh banyak hal terutama pada iklim mikro tanaman dan pertumbuhan tanaman yang dicirikan dengan daun keriting dan berwarna kuning. Untuk mengatasi masalah dapat dilakukan pemberian jenis mulsa dan jenis pupuk pada tanaman jeruk purut. Kegiatan penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2023 sampai bulan November 2023 di lahan perkebunan Badan Standardisasi Instrumen Pertanian (BSIP) Tanaman Jeruk dan Buah Subtropika yang beralamatkan di Jl. Raya Tlekung No.1, Beji, Kec. Junrejo, Kota Batu, Jawa Timur. Terdapat 3 lahan yang berbeda yaitu pada perlakuan mulsa plastik hitam perak, mulsa sekam padi, dan tanpa mulsa. Pemupukan dilakukan dengan menggunakan pupuk Nitralite dan pupuk NPK. Pengaplikasian pupuk dilakukan dengan dosis pupuk Nitralite sebesar 33,75 g/tanaman dan pupuk NPK (15-10-12) sebesar 30 g/tanaman. Semua lahan terdapat 81 tanaman pada penelitian dengan perlakuan yang berbeda. Parameter yang diamati antara lain suhu dan kelembaban tanah, C-organik tanah, dan N-total tanah. Adapun parameter pertumbuhan tanaman meliputi tinggi tanaman, luas daun, diameter batang, jumlah buah, diameter buah, dan indeks klorofil. Data yang didapatkan kemudian dilakukan uji ANOVA (analysis of variance) dan DMRT (Duncan’s Multiple Range Test) lalu dilakukan uji korelasi. Pengaruh pemberian jenis mulsa dan jenis pupuk memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman, sifat kimia tanah, kelembaban dan suhu tanah. Pengaplikasian mulsa sekam merupakan perlakuan terbaik dan mampu meningkatkan suhu tanah 26,12°C, sedangkan pengaplikasian mulsa plastik dapat meningkatkan kelembaban tanah 7,88 RH. Mulsa sekam dengan penambahan pupuk berbasis N juga dapat meningkatkan C-organik kedalaman 0-15 sebesar 2,04% dan N-total kedalaman 0-15 sebesar 0,32%.
English Abstract
Kaffir lime is a plant that people often encounter. This plant belongs to the genus Citrus which is a plant that produces essential oil. Increasing the production of kaffir lime plants is very important for society because this plant has many benefits. At the BSIP Jestro experimental garden, less-than-optimal kaffir lime plants were cultivated. The lack of optimal increase in production on agricultural land can be influenced by many things, especially the plant microclimate and plant growth which is characterized by curly and yellow leaves. To overcome the problem, you can apply mulch and fertilizer to kaffir lime plants. Research activities were carried out from July 2023 to November 2023 on the plantation land of the Agricultural Instrument Standardization Agency (BSIP) for Citrus and Subtropical Fruit Plants located at Jl. Raya Tlekung No.1, Beji, Kec. Junrejo, Batu City, East Java. There are 3 different fields, namely black silver plastic mulch, rice husk mulch, and no mulch. Fertilization is carried out using Nitralite fertilizer and NPK fertilizer. Fertilizer application was carried out with a Nitralite fertilizer dose of 33.75 g/plant and NPK (15-10-12) fertilizer of 30 g/plant. In all fields, there were 81 plants in the study with different treatments. The parameters observed include soil temperature and humidity, soil organic C, and soil N-total. The plant growth parameters include plant height, leaf area, stem diameter, number of fruit, fruit diameter, and chlorophyll index. The data obtained were then subjected to ANOVA (analysis of variance) and DMRT (Duncan's Multiple Range Test) tests and then carried out correlation tests. The effect of providing the type of mulch and type of fertilizer has a real influence on plant growth, soil chemical properties, soil moisture and temperature. Application of husk mulch is the best treatment and can increase soil temperature by 26.12°C, while application of plastic mulch can increase soil moisture by 7.88 RH. Husk mulch with the addition of N-based fertilizer can also increase Corganic depth 0-15 by 2.04% and N-total depth 0-15 by 0.32%
