Abstract

Tenaga Kesehatan berperan penting dimasa pandemi Covid-19 untuk membantu pasien yang terinfeksi virus Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas komunikasi keluarga pada tenaga kesehatan yang memiliki keluarga. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini ialah ketika pandemi Covid-19 sedang meningkat, tenaga kesehatan akan lebih sering berada dirumah sakit daripada berada dirumah berkumpul bersama keluarga untuk membantu merawat pasien Covid-19. Dengan adanya hal tersebut peneliti ingin tahu, bagaimana tenaga kesehatan mengatur keharmonisan atau ke intiman dalam keluarga mereka agar tetap memiliki kualitas yang baik. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah kelima informan mengalami perubahan pola komunikasi keluarga dengan menyesuaikan keadaan didalam keluarga. Muncul perhatian yang lebih dibandingkan sebelum terjadinya pandemi, peneliti juga menemukan terjadi sebuah konflik karena intensitas bertemu dirumah menjadi meningkat. Anggota keluarga menjadi perhatian supaya tidak ada anggota keluarga yang terinfeksi virus Covid-19

English Abstract

Health workers play an important role during the Covid-19 pandemic to help patients infected with the Covid-19 virus. This research aims to determine the quality of family communication among health workers who have families. The background to this research is that when the Covid-19 pandemic is increasing, health workers will be in the hospital more often than at home gathering with their families to help care for Covid-19 patients. Given this, researchers want to know how health workers manage harmony or intimacy in their families so that they remain of good quality. The results of this research were that the five informants experienced changes in family communication patterns by adjusting to circumstances within the family. There is more attention than before the pandemic, researchers also found that there was conflict because the intensity of meeting at home increased. Family members must pay attention so that no family member is infected with the Covid-19 virus
