Abstract
Kopi merupakan komoditi utama Perkebunan di Indonesia. Selama 3 tahun terakhir dari tahun 2020-2022 prdoduksi kopi berfluktuasi. Produksi kopi tahun 2022 menurun menjadi 774, 96 ribu ton dibandingkan tahun 2021 sebesar 786,19 ribu ton.
English Abstract
Coffee is an important plantation commodity for the Indonesian economy. Over the past 3 years from 2020-2022, coffee production has fluctuated. Coffee production in 2022 decreased to 774,96 thousand tonnes compared to 2021 was 786,19 thousand tonnes. Jatikerto is one of the areas in the Kromengan District that has coffee plantations. The problem that occurs in Jatikerto is low soil fertility. The results of basic analysis showed that the soil in Jatikerto had soil acidity was 5,5 (acid), Organic C 0,77% (very low), N 0,08% (very low), and available P 0,65 mg/kg (very low). Low organic matter input caused low soil fertility in Jatikerto. Therefore new technology such as organic biopore is needed to increase soil fertility. The research was conducted at Jatikerto Plantation. The research implementation consisted of the following activities: 1) Location selection: Location selection on coffee plantations with the slope (23-30%) and (0-8%); 2) Making biopore: make biopore from paralon material with length of 30 cm, then inserted into the biopore hole that has been made using a drill. 3) Soil and leaves sampling: Sampling was carried out before and after biopore application. Soil samples were taken at intervals of 2, 4, 6, 8 months and taken at 3 depths, that is 0-20 cm; 20 40 cm; 40-60 cm. Leaf samples were taken on the 3rd and 4th leaves located at the tips of productive branches. 4) Growth sampling: consist of number of leaves and chlorophyll. This research used four treatments and was repeated five times with a Randomized Block Design (RBD). The treatments used were P1 (control); P2 (biopore); P3 (biopore+compost); P4 (biopore+goat manure). The experimental data were tested by analysis of variance (ANOVA) to determine the effect of treatment on the parameters. If there is a real influence on the observed parameters, further testing is carried out using the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% level to determine the differences in the influence of compost and biopore between treatments. The correlation test is used to determine the relationship between parameters. The results show that the application of organic biopores significantly affected the soil total N, available P, K-exchangable at each observation. While at the end of observation, the application of organic biopores had significant effect on nitrogen nutrient in leaves and chlorophyll, but had no significant effect on nutrient content of phosphorus, potassium in leaves, and number of leaves. The application of organic biopore with goat manure gave the highest results on soil characteristic, that is soil total N 0,42%, available P 4,06 mg/kg, K-exchangable 2,12 me/100 g soil, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium nutrient in leaves are 4,05%, 1,57%, and 1,56%, chlorophyll 73,68 μg/m².
