Abstract
COVID-19 adalah penyakit yang menyebar dengan cepat dan telah menjadi pandemi, yang menyebabkan peningkatan angka kematian. Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia menyatakan bahwa COVID-19 bukan lagi menjadi pandemi, tetapi masalah kesehatan jangka panjang. Transisi dari pandemi ke keadaan endemik memerlukan kewaspadaan dan layanan kesehatan yang berkelanjutan. Vaksinasi terhadap COVID-19 telah dikembangkan dan terbukti dapat memicu respons imun bawaan dan adaptif. Orang yang kelebihan berat badan mungkin memiliki kadar antibodi yang lebih rendah pasca vaksinasi, yang mungkin disebabkan oleh peradangan dan disfungsi imun. Magnesium, yang penting untuk fungsi imun, mungkin kurang pada orang yang kelebihan berat badan. Demikian pula, kekurangan vitamin D adalah hal yang umum, yang memengaruhi respons imun dan mungkin memerlukan suplementasi. Menilai kadar antibodi pasca vaksinasi dapat memberikan wawasan tentang faktor respons imun pada subjek yang kelebihan berat badan dan perlunya suplementasi vitamin dan mineral untuk meningkatkan kekebalan. Metode: Penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan subyek overweight paska vaksinasi Coronavac dua kali. Kadar vitamin D serum diperiksa menggunakan metode ECLIA, magnesium yang diperiksa menggunakan metode kolorimetrik enzimatik, dan anti-S-RBD yang diperiksa menggunakan metode ECLIA, serta data sekunder yang didapat dari kuosioner untuk menentukan tinggi badan, berat badan, dan IMT. Jumlah subyek penelitian adalah 60 orang. Hasil penelitian: Analisis dengan uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan (p<0,05) antara kadar anti-S-RBD pada subyek penelitian dengan kadar vitamin D normal atau defisiensi. Terdapat perbedaan kadar anti-S-RBD yang tidak bermakna antara subyek penelitian yang mempunyai kadar magnesium <2,1 mg/dL dengan yang mempunyai kadar magnesium ≥2,1 mg/dL (p>0,05). Analisis dengan Spearman menunjukkan bahwa didapatkan hasil korelasi positif antara kadar vitamin D dengan kadar antiS-RBD pada subyek overweight (p<0,05). Hasil korelasi Spearman antara kadar magnesium dengan kadar anti-S-RBD pada subyek overweight diperoleh p sebesar 0,844 (p>0,05) yang menunjukkan tidak terdapat korelasi. Kesimpulan: Pada penelitian ini terdapat korelasi antara kadar vitamin D dan anti-S-RBD pada subjek overweight. Kadar magnesium tidak memiliki korelasi yang signifikan.
English Abstract
COVID-19 is a rapidly spreading disease that has become a pandemic, leading to increased mortality. The World Health Organization has stated that COVID-19 is no longer a pandemic, but a long-term health problem. The transition from pandemic to endemic requires continued vigilance and health services. Vaccination against COVID-19 has been developed and shown to trigger both innate and adaptive immune responses. Overweight individuals may have lower antibody levels post-vaccination, possibly due to inflammation and immune dysfunction. Magnesium, which is essential for immune function, may be deficient in overweight individuals. Similarly, vitamin D deficiency is common, which affects immune response and may require supplementation. Assessing antibody levels post-vaccination may provide insight into immune response factors in overweight subjects and the need for vitamin and mineral supplementation to boost immunity. Metode: Descriptive analytical study with overweight subjects after two Coronavac vaccinations. Serum vitamin D levels were examined using the ECLIA method, magnesium was examined using the enzymatic colorimetric method, and anti-SRBD was examined using the ECLIA method, as well as secondary data obtained from questionnaires to determine height, weight, and BMI. The number of research subjects was 60 people. Hasil penelitian: Analysis with the Mann-Whitney test showed a significant difference (p<0.05) between anti-S-RBD levels in research subjects with normal or deficient vitamin D levels. There was an insignificant difference in anti-S-RBD levels between research subjects with magnesium levels <2.1 mg/dL and those with magnesium levels ≥2.1 mg/dL (p>0.05). Analysis with Spearman showed that there was a positive correlation between vitamin D levels and anti-S-RBD levels in overweight subjects (p<0.05). The Spearman correlation results between magnesium levels and anti-S-RBD levels in overweight subjects obtained p of 0.844 (p>0.05) which indicated no correlation.Kesimpulan: The study found a correlation between levels of vitamin D and anti-S-RBD in overweight subjects. Magnesium levels had no significant correlation.
