Abstract
English Abstract
Factors that influence the production results of cultivating vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) using an intensive system are the use of stocking density, water quality and feeding. High stocking density, poor water quality and inappropriate feeding attect low shrimp production results. High stocking density affects shrimp competition for space, food and oxygen. Poor water quality will pollute the waters and cause vaname shrimp to become easily stressed, and shrimp growth will be hampered. Improper feeding causes uneven growth of vaname shrimp. These factors influence the survival and production results of vaname shrimp. The aim of this research is to determine variations in vaname shrimp cultivation production. This research was carried out in intensive system shrimp ponds on plots P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, P6 and P7 in CP partners. Prima is UD Arjun, Tambak Lekok Village, Kec. Lekok, Kab. Pasuruan, East Java. The observation period was carried out for 2 months on 15 November 2024 - 27 December 2024. The method used in this research was the comparative descriptive method. Data analysis in this research uses descriptive analysis with data presentation in the form of graphs and tables. The parameters observed were the Mean Body Weight value, Average Daily Growth value, Specific Growth Rate value, Feed Conversion Ratio, and Survival Rate. The results of research regarding production variations showed that the highest value (MBW) was found in plot P6, namely 18.16 grams/head and the lowest in plot P1, 7.05 grams/head. The highest (ADG) value was plot P4 with a value of 0.36 grams/day and the lowest for plot P1 0.20 grams/day. The highest value (SGR) for plot P5 was 3.76% weight/day and the lowest for plot P5 was 3.08% weight/day. The highest (FCR) value for plot P1 was 1.95 and the lowest for plot P4 was 1.07. The highest value (SR) for plot P5 was 86.12% and the lowest for plot P1 was 49.75%. Water quality during observations was still within the optimal range, namely brown water color, brightness 21-40 cm, temperature ranging between 26.97-30.730C, pH between 7.03-8.19, salinity 29-32 ppt, dissolved oxygen between 3.63-7.09 mg/L, ammonium ranges from 0-1.04 mg/L and nitrite ranges from 0.1-1 mg/L. The results of this research prove that there are variations in the production of vaname shrimp in intensive ponds.
