Abstract

Penelitian kali ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motif dan tingkat kepuasan subscribers channel YouTube Windah Basudara.Channel YouTube Windah Basudara merupakan channel YouTube yang konten utamanya berupa live streaming dimana interaksi antara penonton dan streamer sangatlah kental jika dibandingkan dengan konten YouTube lain, karena pada sesi live streaming terdapat fitu live chat yang membuat para penonton dapat berinteraksi secara real time dengan streamer. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan karena mengisi kesenjangan pengetahuan yang ada dalam literatur terdahulu tentang channel YouTube gaming, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan live streaming. Selaim itu, penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan yang lebih dalam tentang interaksi antara live streamer dan penonton dalam konteks live streaming. Hal ini akan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan bagi pengembangan teori dan praktik dalam konteks penelitian ini, serta memberikan pandangan baru tentang bagaimana interaksi dalam platform digital seperti YouTube dapat memengaruhi pengalaman pengguna dan kepuasan mereka.Pendekatan kuantitatif dimana data pada penelitian ini didapatkan melalui kuesioner kepada sampel subscribers channel YouTube Windah Basudra akan diterapkan pada penelitian kali ini. Data dari kuesioner merupakan data untuk mengetahui motif, lalu berdasarkan data tersebut akan dihitung mengenai tingkat kepuasannya untuk melihat keterkaitan antara motif dan tingkat kepuasannya. Hasilnya, motif utama yang melatar belakangi subscribers channel YouTube Windah Basudara ialah menghibur, dan informatif. Secara keseluruhan, subscribers channel YouTube Windah Basudara merasa puas terhadap konten dari channel YouTube Windah Basudara

English Abstract

This study aims to investigate the motives and satisfaction levels of subscribers to the YouTube channel Windah Basudara. The Windah Basudara YouTube channel primarily features live streaming content, where interaction between viewers and the streamer is heavily emphasized compared to other YouTube content, due to the presence of the live chat feature during streaming sessions, enabling viewers to interact with the streamer in real time. This research is important as it fills gaps in knowledge found in previous literature on YouTube gaming channels, particularly those related to live streaming. Additionally, this study is expected to provide deeper insights into the interaction between live streamers and viewers in the context of live streaming. This will significantly contribute to the development of theory and practice in this research context, as well as provide new perspectives on how interactions on digital platforms such as YouTube can affect user experiences and satisfaction. A quantitative approach, where data for this study will be obtained through questionnaires distributed to a sample of Windah Basudara YouTube channel subscribers, will be applied. The data from the questionnaires will be used to determine the motives, and based on this data, the satisfaction levels will be calculated to examine the relationship between motives and satisfaction levels. The results reveal that the main motives behind Windah Basudara YouTube channel subscribers are entertainment and informativeness. Overall, subscribers to the Windah Basudara YouTube channel express satisfaction with the content provided by the channel
