Abstract
Universitas Brawijaya telah melakukan proses manajemen naskah dinas secara terkomputerisasi menggunakan Smart and Collabora ve Office (SCO). Namun SCO ini masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam ruang lingkup penggunaannya. Oleh karena itu, Direktorat Teknologi Informasi Universitas Brawijaya (DTI UB) berusaha mengembangkan sistem persuratan yang terintegrasi demi meningkatkan efisiensi dan efek vitas terhadap penggunaan manajemen naskah dinas. Namun, terhadap SCO baru masih belum dilakukan evaluasi usability secara sistema k. Peneli an ini bertujuan untuk menemukan masalah usability pada SCO baru dan memberikan rekomendasi sesuai ngkat urgensinya. Selain itu, peneli an ini bertujuan untuk mengama penurunan jumlah masalah yang muncul dari SCO legasi. Metode yang digunakan untuk melakukan evaluasi sistem yaitu pengujian usability dengan memberikan tugas kepada responden diiku dengan observasi dan wawancara. Dari permasalahan yang ditemukan, masalah dikelompokan berdasarkan kemiripan dan frekuensi munculnya. Permasalahan yang ditemukan dikelompokan berdasarkan prinsip heuris c . Selanjutnya dilakukan pemeringkatan prioritas menggunakan model Kano dan pemberian rekomendasi perbaikan. Dari pengujian usability , ditemukan 32 permasalahan usability dan dilakukan pengelompokan menjadi 20 masalah usability yang kemudian dikelompokan kembali berdasarkan prinsip heuris c . Pada model Kano, terdapat kategori Performance yang menempa prioritas ter nggi dan Indifferent dengan prioritas rendah. Dari penggunaan model Kano menghasilkan 6 permasalahan yang termasuk kedalam kategori Performance , 2 permasalahan dengan kategori Must-be , 3 permasalahan yang termasuk kedalam kategori A rac ve , dan 9 permasalahan yang termasuk pada kategori Indifferent . Selain itu, adanya SCO baru berhasil menyelesaikan 9 dari 11 masalah yang ditemukan menunjukkan kemampuan DTI untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang muncul pada SCO legasi.
English Abstract
Brawijaya University has implemented the computerized official manuscript management process using Smart and Collabora ve Office (SCO), but its use remains limited and has various problems. The Directorate of Informa on Technology of Universitas Brawijaya (DTI UB) is trying to develop a more efficient and effec ve integrated correspondence system for official manuscript management. However, the new SCO has not been thoroughly evaluated for usability, poten ally harboring usability issues. This research aims to find usability problems in the new SCO and provide priori zed recommenda ons for improvement. Furthermore, this study aims to observe the decline in problems raised by the legacy SCO. The evalua on method involves usability tes ng by giving tasks to respondents followed by observa on and interviews. From the problems found, problems are grouped based on their similarity and frequency. The problems found were grouped using heuris c principles. The Kano model is then applied to priori ze and suggest improvements. From usability tes ng, 32 usability problems were found, and a er grouping them into 20 usability problems and regrouped again based on heuris c principles. In the Kano model, there is a category of performance with the highest priority and Indifferent with low priority. Using the Kano model resulted in 6 problems under the Performance category, 2 problems with the Must-be category, 3 problems under the A rac ve category, and 9 problems under the Indifferent category. In addi on, the existence of the new SCO successfully resolved 9 of the 11 problems found, indica ng the ability of DTI to solve problems that arose in the legacy SCO.
