Abstract
English Abstract
The rapid development of technology in everyday life, including in the education sector, particularly in English learning. The application of technology in education helps teachers deliver material and find teaching resources more easily. However, not all teaching and learning activities use technology because many teachers still face difficulties in understanding its use. Conversely, student teachers are more accustomed to technology, especially due to the Covid-19 pandemic which forced online learning. This study aims to investigate the application of ICT from the perspective and experiences of EFL Student Teachers, as well as to find the benefits and challenges during the implementation of ICT in ELT teaching during the P4 teaching volunteer program. Qualitative data were collected from semi-structured interviews with 6 EFL student teachers from the English Education Study Program at Brawijaya University, using adapted methods from Champa, Rochsantiningsih, Kristiana (2021) & Mudra (2020). The results of the study show that the utilization of ICT in face-to-face learning post-pandemic is effective and received a positive response from students. However, there are some challenges that teachers need to pay attention to. Because this study uses the TAM2 model and a limited sample, its application may not be generalizable to other populations. Future research is recommended to involve a larger population to enhance the generalization of the results.
