Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud nilai moral dalam novel Refrain karya Winna Efendi dan moral tokoh utama dalam menghadapi persoalan dalam novel Refrain karya Winna Efendi. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa hasil telaah berupa teks yang mengandung nilai moral, sedangkan sumber data penelitian berasal dari novel Refrain karya Winna Efendi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah baca, catat, dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) wujud nilai moral memiliki tiga jenis, yakni yang pertama nilai moral yang berhubungan dengan diri sendiri berupa tanggung jawab siswa kepada pendidikan, percaya diri, dan kejujuran, yang kedua nilai moral yang berhubungan manusia dengan manusia lain berupa meminta maaf, kasih sayang antara anak dan orang tua, nasihat orang tua kepada anak, menepati janji, kepedulian, berterima kasih, menghargai orang lain, kasih sayang antar teman, nasihat antar saudara, tolong menolong, dukungan moral, nasihat antar teman, dan kasih sayang antar saudara, yang ketiga nilai moral berhubungan manusia dengan Tuhan berupa berdoa, keikhlasan, dan kesabaran, (2) moral tokoh utama dalam menghadapi persoalan hidup berupa suka bekerja keras, bersahabat/komunikatif, teguh pendirian, bersikap pasrah, bertanggung jawab, dan tidak mudah putus asa.
English Abstract
This study aims to describe the form of moral values in the novel Refrain by Winna Efendi and the morality of the main characters in facing problems in the novel Refrain by Winna Efendi. The data in this study is in the form of analysis results in the form of texts containing moral values, while the source of research data comes from the novel Refrain by Winna Efendi. The method used is qualitative descriptive. The data analysis techniques used are reading, recording, and documen. The results of the study show that (1) the form of moral values has three types, namely the first form of moral values of human relationships with oneself in the form of students' responsibility for education, confidence, and honesty, the second form of moral values of human relationships with other humans in the form of apologies, affection between children and parents, parental advice to children, keeping promises, caring, gratitude, respecting others, affection between friends, advice between siblings, helping, moral support, advice between friends, and affection between siblings, the third manifestation of the moral value of human relations with God in the form of prayer, sincerity, and patience, (2) The moral of the main character in facing life problems is in the form of like to work hard, friendly/communicative, firm in standing, resigned, responsible, and not easily discouraged.
