Abstract
Penurunan niat generasi muda untuk memulai usaha pada bidang pertanian disebkan karena masyarakat tidak mengenal pertanian, adanya persepsi negatif masyarakat terhadap pertanian, dan adanya identifikasi petani dengan kemiskinan di pedesaan. Selain itu, kurangnya kemampuan, dukungan dari orang-orang terdekat dan finansial menjadi berberapa penyebab kurangnya niat generasi muda untuk merintis usaha di bidang pertanian. Kaum muda tidak menganggap pertanian sebagai jaminan untuk masa depan, sebenarnya pertanian adalah pekerjaan yang menantang secara mental dan fisik. Theory of planned behaviour (TPB) merupakan model yang digunakan. TPB merupakan sebuah model yang menjelaskan bahwa niat merupakan faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi individu melakukan suatu perilaku tertentu. Niat sendiri terbentuk karena adanya sikap, norma subjektif, dan persepsi kontrol perilaku. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk Mendeskripsikan persepsi generasi muda di Desa Kliteh Kecamatan Malo Kabupaten Bojonegoro terhadap pekerjaan dibidang pertanian dan Menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi niat dan perilaku generasi muda Desa Kliteh Kecamatan Malo Kabupaten Bojonegoro untuk bekerja dibidang pertanian. Dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Rentang waktu bulan januari-februari 2024 di Desa Kliteh Kecamatan Malo Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu simple random sampling sebanyak 111 sampel. Metode pengumpulan data (wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi). Analisis data dengan sem-pls yang berfokus pada penjelasan varian dalam variabel laten. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Sikap, Norma subjektif, dan Persepsi Kontrol Perilaku positif dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap niat dan perilaku generasi muda untuk bekerja di bidang pertanian di Desa Kliteh Kecamatan Malo Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Demikian juga, ketiga variabel tersebut positif dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap Perilaku Generasi Muda untuk bekerja di bidang pertanian melalui mediasi Niat generasi muda untuk bekerja di bidang pertanian. Dan Niat Generasi Muda untuk bekerja di bidang pertanian positif dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap Perilaku Generasi Muda untuk bekerja di bidang pertanian di Desa Kliteh Kecamatan Malo Kabupaten Bojonegoro.niat generasi muda untuk bekerja di bidang pertanian menjadi variabel yang memiliki pengaruh terkuat dengan nilai koefisien 0.376 sedangkan norma subjektif ke perilaku yang di mediasi niat menjadi variabel terlemah yaitu dengan nilai koefisien 0.095. Hal ini disebabkan karena persepsi diri generasi muda bahwa pertanian kegiatan yang menarik dan memiliki prospek pertanian sangat baik di masa depan. Adanya peran keluarga dan orang-orang di sekitar dalam pertanian menjadikan generasi muda merasa siap dan yakin dalam pertanian. Generasi muda merasa memiliki kemampuan dalam pertanian dan memiliki keyakinan sukses dalam pertanian. Niat yang tinggi berarti yakin bahwa kerja keras akan menentukan kesuksesan dalam pertanian, memiliki sifat pantang menyerah dalam pertanian dan optimis dalam menyelesaikan semua pekerjaan pertanian.
English Abstract
The decline in the younger generation's intention to start a business in the agricultural sector is caused by people not being familiar with agriculture, the negative perception of society towards agriculture, and the identification of farmers with poverty in rural areas. Apart from that, lack of ability, support from people closest to them and finances are some of the causes of the young generation's lack of intention to start a business in the agricultural sector. Young people do not see farming as a guarantee for the future, in fact farming is mentally and physically challenging work. The theory of planned behavior (TPB) is the model used. TPB is a model that explains that intention is a factor that can influence an individual to carry out a certain behavior. Intentions themselves are formed due to attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavioral control The aim of this research is to describe the perceptions of the younger generation in Kliteh Village, Malo District, Bojonegoro Regency regarding work in the agricultural sector and analyze the factors that influence the intentions and behavior of the young generation in Kliteh Village, Malo District, Bojonegoro Regency to work in the agricultural sector. With a quantitative research approach. The time span is January-February 2024 in Kliteh Village, Malo District, Bojonegoro Regency. The sampling technique was simple random sampling with 111 samples. Data collection methods (interviews, questionnaires, and documentation). Data analysis with sem-pls that focuses on explaining variance in latent variables. The results of this research show that Attitudes, Subjective Norms, and Perceived Behavioral Control positively and significantly influence the intentions and behavior of the younger generation to work in the agricultural sector in Kliteh Village, Malo District, Bojonegoro Regency. Likewise, these three variables have a positive and significant influence on the behavior of the younger generation to work in the agricultural sector through the mediation of the younger generation's intention to work in the agricultural sector. And the intention of the younger generation to work in the agricultural sector has a positive and significant influence on the behavior of the younger generation to work in the agricultural sector in Kliteh Village, Malo District, Bojonegoro Regency. The intention of the younger generation to work in the agricultural sector is the variable that has the strongest influence with a coefficient value of 0.376 while the norm subjective to behavior mediated by intention is the weakest variable, namely with a coefficient value of 0.095. This is due to the younger generation's self-perception that agriculture is an interesting activity and has very good agricultural prospects in the future. The role of family and people around them in agriculture makes the younger generation feel ready and confident in agriculture. The younger generation feels they have the ability in agriculture and have confidence in success in agriculture. High intention means being confident that hard work will determine success in agriculture, having the nature of never giving up in agriculture and being optimistic in completing all agricultural work.
