Abstract
Rangkaian aksi yang terjadi pada 4 November 2016 atau dikenal dengan aksi damai 411 dan 2 Desember 2016 atau disebut aksi damai 212. Berbagai media online yang aktif dalam pemberitaan aksi damai menampilkan angle pemberitaan yang bervariasi. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui represenetasi aksi damai 411 dan 212 dalam 6 berita media online Tempo.co. Metode pada penelitian ini analisis wacana kritis Roger Fowler, dkk yang berfokus pada pendekatan critical linguistics. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalah 6 teks berita aksi damai 411 dan 212 di media online Tempo.co pada rentang waktu November – Desember 2016. Peneliti menemukan terdapat 6 teks berita yang menampilkan posisi pembacaan peristiwa aksi bukan sebagai bentuk penyampaian pendapat ataupun gerakan umat yang meminta keadilan hukum, namun aksi damai ditampilkan sebagai gerakan yang memiliki potensi ancaman terhadap keamanan dan stabilitas negara. media online Tempo.co dalam memberitakan peristiwa aksi damai memiliki upaya menggeser makna aksi damai dari gerakan umat untuk meminta keadilan hukum atas peristiwa penistaan bergeser kepada sebuah gerakan yang memiliki potensi mengancam keamanan dan eksitensi negara.
English Abstract
The series of actions that took place on November 4, 2016 or known as the peaceful action 411 and December 2, 2016 or the so-called peaceful action 212. Various online media that are active in reporting the peaceful action display various reporting angles. This research aims to determine the representation of the 411 and 212 peaceful actions in 6 Tempo.co online news media. The method in this research is critical discourse analysis by Roger Fowler, et al, which focuses on a critical linguistics approach. The subjects in this study were 6 news texts of the 411 and 212 peace actions in the online media Tempo.co in the period November - December 2016. The researcher found that there were 6 news texts that displayed the position of reading the events of the action, not as a form of expressing opinions or movements of the people asking for justice. law, but peaceful demonstrations are presented as movements that pose a potential threat to the security and stability of the country. Tempo.co's online media in reporting on peaceful demonstrations has an effort to shift the meaning of peaceful action from the people's movement to ask for legal justice for the blasphemy incident to a movement that has the potential to threaten the security and existence of the state.
