Abstract
enelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) di SD Kristen YBPK Wonoasri. Fokus penelitian adalah pada analisis sarana dan prasarana literasi, proses implementasi, serta evaluasi terhadap kegiatan literasi yang telah berjalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan bersifat deskriptif, dengan tujuan menganalisis dan memberikan gambaran tentang variabel, fenomena, atau peristiwa yang diselidiki. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa hasil observasi, wawancara, dan tes asesmen kompetensi minimum literasi. Observasi dilakukan dengan cara mengamati langsung dan berpartisipasi sebagai pengajar untuk mengetahui kegiatan literasi yang telah berjalan. Wawancara digunakan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang pengalaman terkait kegiatan literasi. Tes asesmen kompetensi minimum literasi digunakan sebagai alat pengukuran standar untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kemampuan literasi siswa secara objektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan GLS di SD Kristen YBPK sebelumnya meliputi fasilitas perpustakaan dan integrasi kegiatan literasi dalam pembelajaran. Namun, kegiatan GLS ini belum optimal, ditunjukkan oleh hasil pretest AKM literasi yang menunjukkan kemampuan literasi siswa yang rendah dengan nilai rata-rata 25%. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan inovasi dalam kegiatan literasi, termasuk gerakan membaca dan berdongeng 15 menit sebelum pembelajaran, penyediaan pojok baca, mading, lomba cipta baca puisi, serta perbaikan dan perawatan fasilitas perpustakaan agar lebih menarik bagi siswa. Penerapan GLS ini memberikan dampak positif pada peningkatan hasil posttest AKM literasi yang menunjukkan rata-rata 75%, serta peningkatan soft skill peserta didik, termasuk kemampuan komunikasi, berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan kemampuan belajar.
English Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) at YBPK Wonoasri Christian Primary School. The focus of the research is on analyzing literacy facilities and infrastructure, the implementation process, and evaluation of literacy activities that have been running. This research uses qualitative methods and is descriptive in nature, with the aim of analyzing and providing a description of the variables, phenomena or events being investigated. The data in this study are the results of observations, interviews and literacy minimum competency assessment tests. Observations were made by directly observing and participating as a teacher to find out the literacy activities that have been running. Interviews were used to gain a deeper understanding of experiences related to literacy activities. The literacy minimum competency assessment test was used as a standardized measurement tool to objectively evaluate the level of students' literacy skills. The results showed that the implementation of GLS at YBPK Christian primary school previously included library facilities and the integration of literacy activities in learning. However, these GLS activities have not been optimized, indicated by the AKM literacy pretest results which showed low student literacy skills with an average score of 25%. Therefore, innovations were made in literacy activities, including the 15-minute reading and storytelling movement before learning, the provision of reading corners, magazines, poetry reading competitions, and the repair and maintenance of library facilities to make them more attractive to students. The implementation of GLS had a positive impact on improving the AKM literacy posttest results which showed an average of 75%, as well as improving students' soft skills, including communication skills, critical thinking, creativity, and learning ability
