Abstract
Participated Cow merupakan sapi betina yang tersedia untuk di IB dengan semen calon pejantan yang diuji dalam pelaksanaan uji zuriat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis performance kuantitatif dan kualitatif Participated Cow yang digunakan untuk uji zuriat sapi perah. Materi yang digunakan 180 ekor sapi laktasi yang digunakan sebagai Participated Cow. Metode penelitian adalah metode survei, pengambilan sampel dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rumus rataan, nilai minimal, nilai maksimal, koefisien keragaman dan standar deviasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata performance kuantitatif Participated Cow secara berturut-turut yaitu tinggi badan 140 ± 7.4 cm, panjang badan 135 ± 9.9 cm, lingkar dada 182 ± 9.9 cm, bobot badan 418 ± 40.6 kg, umur 5 tahun, periode laktasi berada pada periode 3, lama kering 2 bulan, memiliki nilai BCS 3 dan ratarata produksi susu 12 liter/ekor/hari. Skor performance kualitatif Participated Cow secara berturut-turut yaitu kekuatan kaki depan (CW) 5; kedudukan kaki belakang (RLRV) 5; kedalaman badan (BD) 5.5; sudut pantat (RA) 4; sudut teracak depan (FFA) 5.5; sudut teracak belakang 5; tinggi ambing (RUH) 7; lebar ambing (RUW) 3; kedalaman ambing (UD) 5; panjang puting (TL) depan 5; dan panjang puting (TL) 4. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu performance kuantitatif Participated Cow memenuhi standar Direktorat Jenderal Peternakan 2008 dan SNI Bibit Sapi Perah Holstein 2022 dengan persentase 77.81%, standarisasi produksi susu 305 hari hanya memenuhi SNI sebesar 31.17%, performance kualitatif dikategorikan ke dalam kategori sedang dan belum memenuhi standar ideal National Holstein Friesian Association 2020 dengan persentase 5%.
English Abstract
Participated Cow is a female cow available for Artificial Insemination with the semen of prospective males tested in the progeny test. This study aims to analyze the quantitative and qualitative performance of participating cows used for dairy cattle in the progeny test. The material used was 180 lactation cows used as Participated Cows. The research method is a survey method, sampling is done by purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis with the formula mean, minimum value, maximum value, diversity coefficient, and standard deviation. The results showed the average quantitative performance of the Participated Cow consecutively body height 140 ± 7.4 cm, body length 135 ± 9.9 cm, chest girth 182 ± 9.9 cm, body weight 418 ± 40.6 kg, age 5 years, lactation period was in period 3, dry length 2 months, had BCS value 3 and average milk production 12 liters/head/day. Participated Cow's qualitative performance score consecutively, namely chest width (CW) 5; rear legs rear view (RLRV) 5; body depth (BD) 5.5; rump angle (RA) 4; front foot angle (FFA) 5.5; rear foot angle 5; rear udder height (RUH) 7; rear udder width (RUW) 3; udder depth (UD) 5; front teat length (FTL) 5; and rear teat length (RTL) 4. This study concludes that the quantitative performance of Participated Cow meets the standards of the Directorate General of Livestock 2008 and SNI Dairy Breed Holstein 2022 with a percentage of 77.81%, the standardization of milk production for 305 days only meets the SNI of 31.17%, the qualitative performance is categorized into the medium category and has not met the ideal standard of the National Holstein Friesian Association 2020 with a percentage of 5%.
