English Abstract

This study investigates the effects of the Dow Jones Index (DJIA), world oil prices, and world gold prices on the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) for companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2012-2018. type of research useexplanatory research aims to elucidate the relationships among the DJIA, world oil prices, world gold prices, and the IHSG through hypothesis testing and interpretation of the results. Employing a quantitative approach, the study utilizes multiple linear regression analysis to assess the impact of multiple independent variables on the dependent variable. The findings indicate that: (1) the DJIA has a significant positive effect on the IHSG, supporting H1; (2) world oil prices have a significant negative effect on the IHSG, supporting H2; (3) world gold prices do not significantly affect the IHSG, rejecting H3; and (4) collectively, the DJIA, world oil prices, and world gold prices have a significant positive effect on the IHSG, it can be concluded that the combined influence of these variables is significant.
