Abstract
Panti Asuhan Putra Harapan Asrori di Kota Malang, Jawa Timur, memiliki sejarah panjang dalam memberi perlindungan dan perawatan bagi anak�anak yang bernasib kurang beruntung. Namun, permasalahan seperti fasilitas yang usang, interior yang kurang kondusif, serta minimnya sarana pendidikan telah menjadi tantangan dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung perkembangan anak-anak tersebut. Skripsi ini mengusulkan sebuah redesain interior Panti Asuhan Putra Harapan Asrori dengan konsep "Eduplay and Fun" yang interaktif, didukung oleh pendekatan Montessori. Konsep ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih ramah anak, memotivasi mereka untuk belajar, dan meningkatkan kualitas perkembangan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Melalui perancangan interior yang tematik, penggunaan bentuk geometris dan warna yang mendukung interaksi emosional, serta penyediaan fasilitas yang memadai, skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada dalam panti asuhan tersebut. Untuk itu, diharapkan hasil dari redesain dapat membantu untuk menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang lebih berkualitas pada anak yang tinggal di Panti Asuhan Putra Harapan Asrori.
English Abstract
The Putra Harapan Asrori Orphanage in Malang City, East Java, has a long history of providing protection and care for children who are less fortunate. However, problems such as outdated facilities, less conducive interiors, and a lack of educational facilities have become challenges in creating an environment that supports the development of these children. This thesis proposes a redesign of the interior of the Putra Harapan Asrori Orphanage with an interactive "Eduplay and Fun" concept, supported by a Montessori approach. This concept aims to create a more child-friendly environment, motivate them to learn, and improve the quality of cognitive, affective and psychomotor development. Through thematic interior design, the use of geometric shapes and colors that support emotional interaction, and the provision of adequate facilities, this thesis aims to overcome the problems that exist in the orphanage. For this reason, it is hoped that the results of the redesign can help to create higher quality human resources for children living at the Putra Harapan Asrori Orphanage.
