Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan data sekunder yang diambil dari laporan keuangan dan laporan auditor independen yang dipublikasikan oleh Bursa Efek Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis industri, pertumbuhan perusahaan dan Covid-19 terhadap audit delay. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan-perusahaan yang tergabung dalam kategori perusahaan LQ45 periode 2018-2021. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan dan diperoleh sampel perusahaan selama periode 2018-2021. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dan diolah menggunakan SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis industri berpengaruh terhadap audit delay, sedangkan pertumbuhan perusahaan dan Covid- 19 tidak berpengaruh terhadap audit delay pada perusahaan LQ45 periode 2018- 2021.

English Abstract

This research employs quantitative method and involves secondary data obtained from the financial statements and independent auditors' reports published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of industry type, company growth and Covid-19 on the audit delay of LQ45 companies between 2018 and 2021. The companies as the research samples are selected through purposive sampling technique with predetermined criteria, and analyzed by multiple linear regression processed utilizing SPSS 26. The results exhibit that industry type affects audit delay while company growth and Covid-19 have no effect on the audit delay of LQ45 companies for the 2018-2021 period.
