Abstract
Kualitas air suatu sungai menentukan hasil produktivitas pertanian, khususnya pada tanaman pangan seperti padi dan jagung. Kualitas air dipengaruhi oleh aktivitas manusia yang berada di sekitar sungai yang dijadikan sumber pengairan. Pembuangan limbah domestik dan industri pada sungai menyebabkan menurunnya kualitas air sungai. Peningkatan jumlah penduduk berbanding lurus dengan peningkatan volume limbah domestik. Kualitas air yang baik dapat meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian. Tujuan dari penulisan tugas akhir diantaranya adalah menganalisis indeks kualitas air Sungai Widas, menganalisis produktivitas padi dan jagung di 10 Kecamatan Nganjuk, mengetahui hubungan indeks kualitas air terhadap produksi pertanian, dan menyusun strategi pengendalian dengan tujuan menurunkan beban pencemar di Sungai Widas. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Variabel bebas yang digunakan meliputi indeks kualitas air, kelembaban udara, suhu udara, kecepatan angin, dan durasi penyinaran matahari. Sedangkan variabel terikat penelitian adalah produktivitas tanaman padi dan jagung. Indeks kualitas air Sungai Widas diketahui melalui metode indeks pencemar dan indeks kualitas air. Analisis regresi berganda dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara indeks kualitas air dengan produktivitas pertanian. Strategi pengendalian dalam menurunkan beban pencemar dilakukan dengan analisa SWOT. Sungai Widas termasuk kedalam kelas II berdasarkan Peraturan Gubernur Nomor 61 Tahun 2010 untuk kategori sungai. Penentuan indeks kualitas air ditentukan berdasarkan 3 lokasi dan menggunakan baku mutu kelas II dan III dari Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 22 Tahun 2021 untuk sungai. Jika dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya, terdapat penurunan indeks kualitas air baik menggunakan baku mutu kelas II maupun kelas III dari kondisi baik dengan nilai 70 menjadi 56,67 (baku mutu kelas II) dan 63,33 (baku mutu kelas III) yaitu kondisi sedang Kemudian diketahui hubungan dari indeks kualitas air dengan produktivitas pertanian padi sebesar 0,286 yang termasuk kategori rendah. Dan hubungan indeks kualitas air dengan produktivitas pertanian jagung sebesar 0,143 yang termasuk kategori sangat rendah. Untuk tingkat pengetahuan petani didapatkan sebesar 64,64% yang menunjukkan cukup baik. Untuk tingkat persepsi dari petani didapatkan 69,03% yang menunjukkan cukup baik. Kemudian dilakukan analisis SWOT dan didapatkan strategi aggressive yang tepat dan sesuai dengan Sungai Widas.
English Abstract
The water quality of a river determines agricultural productivity results, especially for food crops such as rice and corn. Water quality is influenced by human activities around the river which is used as a source of irrigation. Disposal of domestic and industrial waste in rivers causes a decline in river water quality. The increase in population is directly proportional to the rise in the volume of domestic waste. Good water quality can increase agricultural productivity. The objectives of writing the final assignment include analyzing the water quality index of the Widas River, analyzing the productivity of rice and corn in 10 Nganjuk Districts, finding out the relationship between the water quality index and agricultural productivity, and developing control strategies to reduce the pollutant load in the Widas River. The research was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods. The independent variables used include water quality index, air humidity, air temperature, wind speed, and duration of sunlight. Meanwhile, the researchdependent variable is the productivity of rice and corn plants. The water quality index of the Widas River is known through the pollutant index and water quality index methods. Multiple regression analysis was carried out to determine the relationship between the water quality index and agricultural productivity. The control strategy for reducing pollutant loads is carried out using SWOT analysis. The Widas River is included in class II based on Governor Regulation Number 61 of 2010 for the river category. The water quality index is determined based on 3 locations and uses class II and III quality standards from Government Regulation 22 of 2021 for rivers. When compared with the previous year, there was a decrease in the water quality index using both class II and class III quality standards from good conditions with a value of 70 to 56,67 (class II quality standards) and 63,33 (class III quality standards), namely moderate conditions. Then it was discovered that the relationship between the water quality index and rice agricultural productivity was 0.286, which was included in the low category. And the relationship between the water quality index and corn agricultural productivity is 0.143, which is in the very low category. The level of farmer knowledge was found to be 64.64%, which shows that it is quite good. The level of perception from farmers was found to be 69.03%, which shows that it is quite good. Then a SWOT analysis was carried out and an aggressive strategy was obtained that was appropriate and suited to the Widas River
