Abstract

Penulisan Tugas Akhir yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sistem penyimpanan arsip dan penggunaan Google Drive sebagai media penyimpanan arsip di PT. Kusumantara Graha Jayatrisna. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan hasil observasi dan wawancara oleh penulis. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan diketahui bahwa saat ada dokumen yang sudah di fotocopy, dokumen di masukkan lemari arsip sehingga terjadi penumpukan dan arsip tidak tertata dengan rapi. Hal ini menyebabkan proses temu kembali arsip dokumen memakan waktu cukup lama. Menyadari pentingnya arsip sebagai sumber informasi maka arsip harus dikelola menggunakan penyimpanan arsip yang lebih baik dan efisien salah satunya dengan menggunakan Cloud Storage – Google Drive.

English Abstract

The purpose of writing this final assignment is to describe the archive storage system and the use of Google Drive as an archive storage medium at PT. Kusumantara Graha Jayatrisna. This final assignment uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach with data collection techniques using the results of observations and interviews by the author. Based on observations, it is known that when a document has been photocopied, the document is put in a filing cabinet so that there is a buildup and the archives are not neatly arranged. This causes the document archive retrieval process to take quite a long time. Realizing the importance of archives as a source of information, archives must be managed using better and more efficient archive storage, one of which is using Cloud Storage – Google Drive.
