Abstract
Dalam upaya mengurangi kerugian akibat kekeringan sekaligus memperbaiki kualitas pangan yang ada di Indonesia yaitu dengan merancang smart garden yang melakukan penyiraman otomatis apabila kondisi tanah tidak tercukupi. Selain pembuatan rancangan tersebut juga diperlukan pembuatan monitoring smart garden system yang digunakan untuk mempermudah pengguna dalam melakukan pengawasan terhadap kinerja smart garden system. Pada perancangan penyiraman otomatis ini menggunakan sensor soil moisture untuk mendeteksi nilai tanah yang telah di konversi ke analog 1-100. Pengambilan nilai soil moisture di bantu oleh baterai yang kemudian dibantu oleh stepdown guna menurunkan kapasitas volt sesuai dengan kebutuhan alat untuk menghindari lonjakan tegangan yang dapat merusak komponen.
English Abstract
In an effort to reduce losses due to drought while improving the quality of food in Indonesia, a smart garden is designed to perform automatic watering when soil conditions are insufficient. In addition to creating this design, it is also necessary to develop a smart garden system monitoring to make it easier for users to supervise the performance of the smart garden system. In designing this automatic watering system, a soil moisture sensor is used to detect soil values that have been converted to analog 1-100. The soil moisture value is obtained with the help of a battery, which is then assisted by a step-down converter to reduce the voltage capacity according to the equipment's needs to avoid voltage surges that can damage components.
