Abstract
Laporan ini menjelaskan perancangan desain UI/UX website e-commerce PT. Gendoel Karya Nusantara menggunakan metode User-Centered Design (UCD). UCD dipilih karena fokusnya pada kebutuhan dan pengalaman pengguna untuk meningkatkan retensi dan kepuasan. Latar belakang dari perancangan ini adalah karena banyak perusahaan di Indonesia, termasuk PT. Gendoel Karya Nusantara, belum sepenuhnya memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan platform e-commerce. Perusahaan masih bergantung pada penjualan offline dan kurangnya pengetahuan tentang penjualan online membatasi jangkauan pasar dan penerapan strategi pemasaran digital yang efektif. Teknik pengambilan data pada perancangan ini dilakukan melalui wawancara pengguna dan pemiliknya. Data yang sudah terkumpul akan diterapkan pada perancangan solusi desain. Perancangan juga dilakukan pengujian menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) untuk menentukan kepuasan penggunanya.
English Abstract
This report describes the UI/UX design of PT Gendoel Karya Nusantara e- commerce website using User-Centered Design (UCD) method. UCD was chosen because of its focus on user needs and experience to improve retention and satisfaction. The background of this design is that many companies in Indonesia, including PT Gendoel Karya Nusantara, have not fully utilized information technology and e-commerce platforms. The company still relies on offline sales and the lack of knowledge about online sales limits the market reach and implementation of effective digital marketing strategies. The data collection technique in this design is done through user and owner interviews. The data that has been collected will be applied to the design of design solutions. The design is also tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS) to determine user satisfaction.
