Abstract

FEB UB merupakan salah satu fakultas di Universitas Brawijaya. FEB UB memiliki website untuk memberikan semua informasi kepada mahasiswa dan tendik ataupun dosen. Tetapi tampilan pada website masih kurang menarik dengan fitur yang terdapat didalam nya masih banyak yang belum dimengerti oleh pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan Redesign User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) pada website menggunakan metode Design Thinking. Metode Design Thinking merupakan pendekatan yang berpusat pada manusia untuk menyelesaikan masalah dan menghadirkan inovasi baru. Terdapat beberapa tahapan dalam Design Thinking yang telah dilakukan oleh penulis selama mengerjakan proyek magang diantaranya adalah, empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Pada tahap empathize, penulis menggali permasalahan secara langsung melalui interview dengan pengguna.

English Abstract

FEB UB is one of the faculties at Brawijaya University. FEB UB has a website to provide all information to students, staff and lecturers. However, the appearance of the website is still less attractive, with many of the features contained in it still not being understood by users. This research aims to redesign the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) on the website using the Design Thinking method. The Design Thinking method is a human-centered approach to solving problems and presenting new innovations. There are several stages in Design Thinking that have been carried out by the author while working on the internship project, including, empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. In the empathize stage, the author explores problems directly through interviews with users.
