Abstract

Toko Putra Mebel merupakan salah satu UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah) yang bergerak dalam bidang mebel dan bahan-bahan material. Dengan berkembangnya UMKM saat ini, maka Toko Putra Mebel akan dirancang dan dibangun sebuah website. Untuk membangun sebuah website, maka diperlukan sebuah rancangan desain tampilan antarmuka atau User Interface dan desain pengalaman pengguna atau User Experience. Tujuan dari perancangan ini adalah untuk menjangkau luas target pasar dan mempermudah masyarakat dalam memesan berbagai mebel dan bahan material dengan cepat dan aman. Untuk memberikan pengalaman yang menarik ketika berbelanja secara online bagi pengguna, perancangan ini menggunakan metode Design Thinking dalam memberikan suatu ide dalam memecahkan masalah menjadi sebuah inovasi. Terdapat beberapa tahapan dalam proses design thinking yang dilakukan dalam perancangan ini diantaranya adalah emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Pada tahap emphatize, penulis melakukan wawancara dan observasi untuk memahami permasalahan pengguna secara langsung. Pada tahap define, di mana penulis mengamati permasalahan dan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pengguna berdasarkan riset. Pada tahap ideate, penulis mengumpulkan ide kreatif atau menciptakan solusi berdasarkan hasil riset yang telah dikumpulkan pada tahap empathize dan define. Kemudian pada tahap prototype, penulis merancang desain UI/UX yang interaktif. Tahap terakhir adalah test, di mana penulis menguji website dengan pengujian menggunakan alat ukur System Usability Scale (SUS) di mana didapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 78,5, dari hasil penilaian tersebut dapat dikategorikan bagus dikarenakan perancangan tersebut telah mencapai tingkat kegunaan yang baik dan dapat memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang memuaskan.

English Abstract

Toko Putra Mebel is one of the MSMEs (Micro Small Medium Enterprises) engaged in the field of furniture and materials. With the development of MSMEs today, Toko Putra Mebel will be designed and built a website. To build a website, a User Interface design and User Experience design are needed. The purpose of this design is to reach a wide target market and make it easier for people to order various furniture and materials quickly and safely. To provide an interesting experience when shopping online for users, this design uses the Design Thinking method in providing an idea in solving problems into an innovation. There are several stages in the design thinking process carried out in this design including empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. At the empathize stage, the author conducted interviews and observations to understand user problems directly. At the define stage, where the author observes problems and identifies user needs based on research. At the ideate stage, the author gathers creative ideas or creates solutions based on the research results that have been collected at the empathize and define stages. Then at the prototype stage, the author designs an interactive UI/UX design. The last stage is test, where the author tests the website by testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) measuring instrument where an average value of 78.5 is obtained, from the results of this assessment it can be categorized as good because the design has reached a good level of usability and can provide a satisfying user experience.
