Abstract
Dalam laporan ini dijabarkan work flow dari seorang penata artistik dalam tahapan produksi musik video, baik pra produksi maupun tahapan produksi. Kemudian sebagai tindak lanjut pengembangan ide cerita dan konsep kreatif dalam produksi, dirancanglah acuan berupa Breakdown Artistik serta List Properti oleh penata artistik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan metode kualitatif deskriptif meliputi Observasi, Studi Literatur dan Dokumentasi. Observasi berupa praktek dan pengamatan di lapangan, Studi Literatur berupa penelitian kepustakaan yang relevan dengan masalah serta Dokumentasi meliputi penghimpunan foto, video maupun dokumen lainnya yang mendukung penyelesaian masalah. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa penata artistik bertanggung jawab atas semua aspek artistik yang tampak dalam frame meliputi latar, handprop (properti tangan), mainprop (properti utama) serta set prop atau properti yang ada di latar. Tentu hal tersebut juga berpengaruh dalam mendukung makna dalam sebuah cerita.
English Abstract
This report describes the work flow of an artistic director in the music video production stages, both pre-production and production stages. Then, as a follow-up to the development of story ideas and creative concepts in production, a reference was designed in the form of an Artistic Breakdown and Property List by the artistic director. The research was carried out using a descriptive qualitative method approach including observation, literature study and documentation. Observations in the form of practice and observations in the field, Literature Studies in the form of library research relevant to the problem and Documentation including collecting photos, videos and other documents that support problem solving. From the research results, it can be seen that the artistic director is responsible for all artistic aspects that appear in the frame, including the background, hand prop, main prop and prop sets or props in the background. Of course, this also influences the meaning of a story.
