Abstract

Terminal merupakan suatu fasilitas yang sangat dibutuhkan suatu wilayah dalam transportasi darat. Terminal Bus Tipe A Bayuangga Probolinggo merupakan terminal bus yang telah lama terletak di Kota Probolinggo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mewujudkan desain interior yang dapat mencerminkan indentitas daerah dari Terminal Bus Tipe A Bayuangga Probolinggo dan diharapkan mampu menarik minat penumpang angkutan umum darat dengan memberikan ciri khas atau pembeda dari terminal lainnya, serta dapat mewujudkan tata ruang yang efektif sehingga dapat menunjang kinerja petugas dan aktivis yang ada di terminal. Proses penelitian diawali dengan melakukan observasi secara langsung, riset informasi terkait Terminal Bus Tipe A Bayuangga Probolinggo, hingga survei terhadap kebutuhan pengguna khususnya penumpang angkutan darat. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan konseptual yang mewujudkan hasil analisa dan sintesa menjadi bentuk desain yang sesuai dengan identitas daerah Probolinggo. Dalam perancangan ini menggunakan pendekatan desain yang membantu mewujudkan konsep ke dalam bentuk desain. Pendekatan yang digunakan berfungsi sebagai penghubung konsep yang disusun dengan perancangan desain. Implementasi Identitas Daerah pada Redesain Interior Fasilitas Pelayanan Publik di Terminal Bus Tipe A Bayuangga Probolinggo diterapkan pada furniture, plafond, dinding, lantai, signage, dan lain-lain dengan mengacu pada warna dan bentuk yang berasal dari identitas daerah yang dimiliki oleh Probolinggo.

English Abstract

The terminal is a facility that is really needed by the community related to land transportation. Bayuangga Probolinggo Type A Bus Terminal is a bus terminal that has been established for quite a long time in Probolinggo City. The aim of this research is to create an interior design that can reflect the regional identity of the Bayuangga Probolinggo Type A Bus Terminal and is expected to be able to attract the interest of land public transport passengers by providing distinctive or differentiating characteristics from other terminals, and can create an effective spatial layout so that it can support the performance of officers and activists at the terminal. The research process began with direct observation, information research related to the Bayuangga Probolinggo Type A Bus Terminal, and a survey of user needs, especially land transportation passengers. By using qualitative research methods with a conceptual approach that translates the results of analysis and synthesis into a design that is in accordance with the identity of the Probolinggo area. In this design, a design approach is used that helps realize the concept into design form. The approach used functions as a link between the concept prepared and the design design. Implementation of Regional Identity in the Interior Redesign of Public Service Facilities at Bayuangga Probolinggo Type A Bus Terminal is applied to furniture, ceilings, walls, floors, signage, etc. by referring to colors and shapes originating from Probolinggo's regional identity.
