Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran seorang editor dalam memvisualisasikan konten “Apa Iya?” dalam program Agropolitan News di Agropolitan Televisi Kota Batu, mulai dari tahap pra produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang menekankan pada aspek analisis berpikir dengan tujuan untuk menjelaskan fenomena dengan mengumpulkan data sebanyak-banyaknya sesuai fakta di lapangan, kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk bahasa disertai dengan laporan yang rinci. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan dokumentasi. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan di lapangan, didapatkah hasil seperti berikut: (1) Editor memiliki peran penting dalam memvisualisasikan sebuah video, (2) Saat pra produksi editor sesekali membantu pembuatan naskah dengan melihat di website resmi, (3) Pada tahap produksi, editor bertugas mencari bahan-bahan serta datadata sesuai dengan isi dari naskah, (4) Di tahap pasca produksi editor melakukan pengeditan dengan teknik penyeleksian, pemotongan, dan penggabungan foto video maupun audio. Visualisasi dilakukan sesuai denganisi naskah yang meliputi menambahkan animasi, u, simbol atau tanda, grafik, dan highlight.
English Abstract
This research aims to find out the role of an editor in visualizing the content of "What Iya?" in the Agropolitan News program on Agropolitan Televisi Batu City, starting from the pre-production, production and postproduction stages. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method which emphasizes the analytical aspect of thinking with the aim of explaining phenomena by collecting as much data as possible according to the facts in the field, then presenting it in linguistic form accompanied by a detailed report. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation and documentation. From the research that has been carried out in the field, the following results were obtained: (1) The editor has an important role in visualizing a video, (2) During pre-production the editor occasionally helps in making the script by looking at the official website, (3) At the production stage, the editor tasked with searching for materials and data according to the contents of the manuscript, (4) In the post-production stage the editor carries out editing using techniques of selecting, cutting and combining photos, video and audio. Visualization is carried out in accordance with the contents of the script which includes adding animation, sound effects, symbols or signs, graphics and highlights.
