Abstract
Director of photography memiliki peran penting dalam pembuatan film pendek fiksi. Director of photography bertanggung jawab atas visual yang akan ditampilkan dalam film. Oleh karena itu, seorang Director of photography harus menguasai teknik-teknik sinematografi. Film “Will You Look At Me” merupakan film bergenre drama yang menggunakan penerapan pergerakan kamera untuk memperkuat dramatic pada film. Aspek sinematografi memegang peranan penting dalam meningkatkan dramatisasi film. Karena pergerakan kamera secara dinamis menciptakan tempo dan ritme film sehingga penonton ikut merasakan apa yang dirasakan oleh tokoh melalui visual yang disajikan. Perwujudan karya ini dilakukan melalui analisa penerapan pergerakan kamera sehingga dapat memperkuat konflik dalam cerita. Elemen-elemen sinematografi meliputi pergerakan kamera, handheld, ukuran shot dan pencahayaan
English Abstract
Director of photography has an important role in making a fictional short film. The director of photography is responsible for the visuals that will be displayed in the movie. Therefore, a director of photography must master the techniques of cinematography. The movie “Will You Look At Me” is a drama genre movie that uses the application of camera movements to strengthen the drama of the movie. The cinematography aspect plays a significant role in enhancing the dramatization of the film. Because camera movements dynamically create the tempo and rhythm of the movie so that the audience feels what the characters feel through the visuals presented. The realization of this work is done through analyzing the application of camera movements so as to strengthen the conflict in the story. The elements of cinematography include camera movement, handheld, shot size and lighting.
