Abstract
Bengkel mobil merupakan tempat untuk perawatan/pemeliharaan, perbaikan mesin pada mobil, oleh karena itu kondisi dalam bengkel juga diperlukan perawatan supaya menunjang aktivitas pengguna bengkel. Aspek penting bangunan bengkel yang perlu diperhatikan adalah luas ruangan, fasilitas ruangan, aktivitas pengguna, fungsi ruangan, kebersihan ruangan, keamanan dan keselamatan kerja. Melalui pendekatan ActivityCentered Design yang diterapkan pada redesain bengkel mobil BMN Performance Nganjuk yaitu desain yang berfokus pada aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh pengguna ruang sehingga fungsi ruang digunakan secara maksimal, organisasi ruang menyesuaikan kebutuhan, sirkulasi yang bervariatif sehingga dapat memperlancar aktivitas didalamnya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data primer berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan data sekunder berupa studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menjadi konsep desain interior bengkel mobil yang mampu memberikan kenyamanan bagi pengguna serta dapat memudahkan aktivitas didalam bengkel tersebut.
English Abstract
A car workshop is a place for maintenance, engine repair on cars, therefore the conditions in the workshop also need maintenance to support the activities of workshop users. Important aspects of the workshop building that need to be considered are the area of the room, room facilities, user activities, room functions, room cleanliness, security and occupational safety. Through the Activity-Centered Design approach applied to the redesign of the BMN Performance Nganjuk car repair shop, which is a design that focuses on the activities carried out by space users so that the function of the space is used optimally, the organization of the space adjusts to needs, the circulation varies so that it can facilitate activities in it. This research method uses a qualitative method that produces descriptive data with primary data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation and secondary data in the form of literature studies. The results of this research are expected to be able to become a concept of interior design of a car workshop that is able to provide comfort for users and can facilitate activities in the workshop.
