Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji desain UI/UX dari sebuah website penyewaan kamar kost online di Kota Serang dengan menggunakan metode Design Thinking. Pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain yang intuitif dan efisien, yang dapat meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna dalam mencari dan menyewa kamar kost. Proses penelitian melibatkan beberapa tahapan yaitu empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Untuk mengukur efektivitas desain yang dihasilkan, penelitian ini menggunakan metode System Usability Testing. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan desain UI/UX website penyewaan kamar kost, serta memberikan solusi yang inovatif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Melalui penerapan metode Design Thinking, diharapkan website ini mampu menyediakan antarmuka yang mudah digunakan dan pengalaman yang menyenangkan bagi pengguna.
English Abstract
This study examines the UI/UX design of an online room rental website in Serang City using the Design Thinking method. This approach aims to create an intuitive and efficient design that can enhance the user experience in finding and renting rooms. The research process involves several stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. To measure the effectiveness of the resulting design, this study uses the System Usability Testing method. The results of this study are expected to contribute significantly to the development of UI/UX design for room rental websites, providing innovative solutions that meet user needs. By applying the Design Thinking method, it is hoped that this website can offer an easyto-use interface and a pleasant user experience.
