Abstract

UMKM adalah usaha produktif yang dimiliki oleh perorangan maupun badan usaha yang sudah memenuhi kriteria sebagai usaha mikro. Toko Putra Mebel sendiri adalah sebuah UMKM yang sudah berdiri sejak 2020 yang terletak di Desa Leces, Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur. Pada saat ini, UMKM Toko Putra Mebel ini masih menggunakan banner, brosur, atau dengan cara mulut kemulut, yang dimana ketika nanti toko ini ingin menambah jenis barang, maka pihak toko harus mengubah brosur atau membuat banner baru agar pembeli atau konsumen bisa mengetahui bahwa ada produk baru yang dihadirkan oleh Toko Putra Mebel ini. Hal tersebut akan mengakibatkan pengeluaran yang lebih banyak untuk mencetak banner dan brosur tersebut. Melihat dari permasalahan tersebut dan dari beberapa penelitian, salah satu solusinya adalah dibuatnya sistem penjualan berbasis website yang bisa diakses oleh siapa saja dan dimana saja. Maka dari itu, penulis menulis tugas akhir dengan judul, “Rancang Bangun Sistem Penjualan Pada Toko Putra Mebel Desa Leces Berbasis Website” yang dirancangan dengan menggunakan metode waterfall dan dibangun dengan menggunakan HMTL, CSS, JavaScript, dan PHP, serta diuji dengan menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS).

English Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are productive businesses owned by individuals or business entitites that have met the criteria as microenterprises. Putra Mebel Store is an SMEs that has been established since 2020, located in Leces Village, Probolinggo, East Java. At this time, the Putra Mebel Store SMEs is still using banners, brochures, or by word of mouth, where when this store wants to add types of goods, the store must change the brochure or create a new banner so that buyers or consumers can know that there are new products presented by this Putra Mebel Store. This will result in more expenses for printing banners and brochures. Looking at these problems and from several studies, one solution is to create a websitebased sales system that can be accessed by anyone and anywhere. Therefore, the author wrote a final assignment with the title, "Design and Construction of a Sales System at the Putra Mebel Store in Leces Village Based on a Website", which is designed using waterfall methods and built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, and tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method.
