Abstract
Penulisan karya tulis ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan konsep desain biophilic untuk diterapkan pada interior pijat refleksi. Adapun yang melatar belakangi penulisan ini adalah tingginya tingkat pekerja yang mengalami burnout di Indonesia. Salah satu langkah untuk menurunkan tingkat burnout di Indonesia ini dengan dimaksimalkannya pelayanan kesehatan alami. Salah satunya dengan cara meredesain ulang pelayanan pijat refleksi. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang didapat sesuai dari hasil observasi pada Pijat Refleksi Kesehatan Haji Uhud di Sukabumi memiliki kondisi ruang yang kurang memadai pada penataan ruang yang kurang tepat untuk sirkulasi ruangan, interior ruangan belum memiliki tema atau interior branding, serta pencahayaan dan penghawaan yang belum maksimal terkhusus pencahayaan alami dan penghawaan alami. Serta mengingat lingkungan sekitar pijat refleksi yang sibuk dan melelahkan secara fisik dan mental, seperti perkantoran, sekolah, kontruksi bangunan. Maka perubahan interior pada Pijat Refleksi Kesehatan Haji Uhud di Sukabumi sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan proses pemulihan pengunjung selama berada di pijat refleksi. Pendekatan desain biophilic sangat sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan di sekitar area refleksi karena konsep desain biophilic dapat memanfaatkan kecenderungan manusia untuk terhubung dengan alam, yang secara positif dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan dan kesejahteraan fisik dan mental. Penggunaan konsep desain ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan penerapan pendekatan desain biophilic dalam memberikan kenyamanan pada pengguna pijat refleksi.
English Abstract
The writing of this paper aims to apply the concept of biophilic design to be applied to the interior of reflexology. The background of this writing is the high level of burnout in Indonesia. One of the steps to reduce the level of burnout in Indonesia is by maximising natural health services. One of them is by redesigning reflexology services. Based on the problems obtained according to the results of observations at the Uhud Hajj Health Reflexology Massage in Sukabumi has inadequate space conditions in the arrangement of spaces that are less precise for room circulation, the interior of the room does not yet have a theme or interior branding, as well as lighting and air conditioning that has not been maximised, especially natural lighting and natural air conditioning. As well as considering the busy and physically and mentally tiring environment around reflexology, such as offices, schools, building construction. So interior changes to the Uhud Haji Health Reflexology in Sukabumi are needed to improve the recovery process of visitors while in reflexology. The biophilic design approach is well suited to the environmental conditions surrounding the reflexology area as the biophilic design concept can utilise the human tendency to connect with nature, which can positively influence physical and mental health and well-being. The use of this design concept aims to facilitate the application of the biophilic design approach in providing comfort and recovery to reflexology users.
