Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi saat ini memberikan arti yang sangat penting dalam bidang komunikasi terutama mengenai interaksi sosial, interaksi sosial dapat berlangsung serta tercipta tanpa adanya batasan ruang dan waktu. Salah satu platform yang masih ramai digunakan oleh masyarakat ialah Youtube. Youtube sendiri banyak digunakan oleh konten kreator untuk menampilkan karyanya dalam bentuk video. Konten kreator sering menggunakan visual effect pada konten mereka, untuk memperindah dan menarik perhatian penonton. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan teknik visual effect dalam konten review teknologi di Youtube : SR Channel. Adapun hal yang melatarbelakangi peneliti dalam menyusun Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk menjelaskan penerapan teknik visual effect dalam konten review teknologi di Youtube : SR Channel. Peneliti menggunakan metodelogi penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode desktiptif. Penggunaan visual effect untuk konten Youtube sangat diperlukan untuk menampilkan visual yang lebih bagus dan akhirnya penonton dapat tertarik untuk melihat. Penggunaan visual effect yang lebih kompleks atau untuk keperluan yang lebih mendetail harus menggunakan spesifikasi yang telah direkomendasikan.
English Abstract
The current technological development has a very significant meaning in the field of communication, especially regarding social interaction. Social interaction can take place and be created without the limitations of space and time. One of the platforms still widely used by the public is YouTube. YouTube is widely used by content creators to showcase their works in video format. Content creators often use visual effects in their content to enhance and attract viewers' attention. This research focuses on the application of visual effect techniques in technology review content on YouTube: SR Channel. The background behind this Final Project is to explain the application of visual effect techniques in technology review content on YouTube: SR Channel. The researcher uses qualitative research methodology with a descriptive method. The use of visual effects for YouTube content is necessary to present better visuals and eventually attract viewers. The use of more complex visual effects or for more detailed purposes must use the recommended specifications
