Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana pengaruh pendekatan gaya realis yang dapat mendukung cerita dalam penerapan makna film pendek “Will You Look at Me?”. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk membahas bagaimana cara pendekatan gaya realis terhadap sebuah film drama untuk membangun kesan realistis dan tidak dibuat buat dalam film. Untuk melakukan penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif Tujuan dari peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif adalah agar dapat secara langsung melihat dan meneliti, serta peneliti bisa menyesuaikan dengan kondisi lapangan agar dapat menangkap informasi makna dalam proses penelitian. Dari penelitian didapatkan hasil bahwa menggunakan pendekatan gaya realis dalam membuat sebuah film dapat mendukung film itu sendiri menjadi film yang lebih dekat dengan penonton, lebih natural, dan lebih dalam maknanya. Laporan ini membahas tentang bagaimana peran seorang sutradara dalam menerapkan gaya realis dalam menyutradarai aktor untuk mendalami cerita dan visi film yang berjudul “Will You Look at Me?”.
English Abstract
This research discusses how the influence of a realist style approach can support the story in applying the meaning of the short film "Will You Look at Me?". This research seeks to discuss how to approach the realist style of a drama film to build a realistic impression and not be made in the movie. To conduct this research, the author uses qualitative research methods. The purpose of researchers using qualitative methods is to be able to directly see and examine, and researchers can adjust to field conditions in order to capture meaning information in the research process. From the research, it was found that using a realist style approach in making a film can support the film itself to become a film that is closer to the audience, more natural, and deeper in meaning. This report discusses how the role of a director in applying a realist style in directing actors to explore the story and vision of the movie entitled "Will You Look at Me?".
