Abstract
Kota Surabaya mengalami pertumbuhan penduduk yang pesat, menyebabkan peningkatan produksi sampah. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, pemerintah setempat telah meluncurkan program bank sampah, namun sebagian besar anggota bank sampah tidak aktif dengan efisiensi operasional yang rendah. Penelitian dilakukan di Kelurahan Jambangan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang mempengaruhi minat partisipasi masyarakat dalam bank sampah. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pendidikan, anggota keluarga, ketersediaan tempat sampah, dan faktor lainnya berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas dan efisiensi bank sampah. Menggunakan analisis regresi logistik agar mengetahui faktor minat partisipasi mana saja yang berhubungan terhadap kinerja bank sampah, dengan 28 variabel terkait kondisi sosio-demografis, terkait kondisi sosio-demografis, variabel situasional, pengetahuan mengenai lingkungan, faktor psikologis, faktor kinerja bank sampah, dan faktor pendukung menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 9 faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja efektivitas bank sampah dan 7 faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja efisiensi bank sampah. Dalam meningkatkan kinerja bank sampah, perlu adanya upaya berupa rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat.
English Abstract
The city of Surabaya is experiencing rapid population growth, causing an increase in waste production. To overcome this problem, the local government has launched a waste bank program, but most of the waste bank members are inactive with low operational efficiency. Research was conducted in Jambangan Village to identify factors that influence community participation in waste banking. The results show that education level, family members, availability of trash cans, and other factors influence the effectiveness and efficiency of waste banks. The results of logistic regression analysis of interest in community participation with 28 predictor variables related to socio-demographic conditions, situational variables, knowledge about the environment, psychological factors, waste bank performance factors, and supporting factors show that there are 9 factors that influence the effectiveness of waste bank performance and 7 factors that influence the efficiency performance of waste banks. In improving the performance of waste banks, efforts need to be made in the form of recommendations to increase community participation.
