Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi informasi sebagai metode untuk mempermudah akses pengguna terhadap informasi telah menjadi unsur utama di era digital. Salah satunya yang sering digunakan adalah situs website. Perancangan user interface (UI) dan user experience (UX) memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pembuatan website. Dengan mulai banyaknya persaingan bisnis dalam usaha pemesanan jasa fotografi, penulis merancang sebuah desain UI/UX pada pemesanan jasa fotografi di Chandrakusumaphotograph yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan revitalisasi layanan. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini yaitu user centered design (UCD) yaitu menempatkan pengguna sebagai fokus utama dalam proses perancangan agar menciptakan produk dengan nilai guna yang tinggi. Dengan Teknik pengambilan data melalui wawancara dan observasi di Chandrakusumaphotography dan kepada calon klien, penulis mengetahui permasalahan dan hambatan yang sedang dialami. Penulis mengumpulkan seluruh keinginan dan kebutuhan dari calon pengguna yang akan diterapkan dalam fitur website, sehingga natinya akan di terapkan sebagai solusi desain. Perancangan ini juga dilakukan pengujian menggunakan system usability scale (SUS) untuk menentukan tingkat kepuasan pengguna.

English Abstract

The use of information technology as a method to facilitate user access to information has become a main element in the digital era. One of them that is often used is a website. Designing the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) has a very important role in creating a website. With the start of a lot of business competition in the business of ordering photography services, the author designed a UI/UX design for ordering photography services at Chandrakusumaphotograph which aims to increase the revitalization of the service. The method used in this design is user centered design (UCD), which places the user as the main focus in the design process in order to create a product with high use value. Using data collection techniques through interviews and observations at Chandrakusumaphotography and with prospective clients, the author knows the problems and obstacles that are being experienced. The author collects all the wishes and needs of potential users which will be implemented in website features, so that later they will be implemented as design solutions. This design was also tested using the system usability scale (SUS) to determine the level of user satisfaction.
