Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi memiliki dampak yang signifikan bagi kehidupan manusia. Salah satu contohnya adalah banyaknya instansi pendidikan yang menerapkan kemajuan teknologi, khususnya melalui internet. Implementasi tersebut adalah penggunaan company profile dengan berbasis website untuk memudahkan semua orang mendapatkan informasi terkait sekolah dengan lebih mudah dan efisien. Company profile berbasis website ini juga telah diterapkan di SMK Ma’arif NU Mantup. Tentunya, pembuatan company profile berbasis website harus dibuat dengan menarik dan informaif. Pada observasi yang dilakukan penulis melalui competitive analysis dan wawancara terhadap pengguna, ditemukan jika website SMK Ma’arif NU Mantup saat ini masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan terkait design antarmuka, fitur yang ada, dan konten yang ada di dalamnya. Dari permasalahan yang didapat, maka perlu dilakukan optimasi terhadap website. Dalam mengatasi masalah yang ada, dipilih metode design thinking, karena dirasa paling sesuai diantara metode lain. Dari penerapan metode design thinking, maka dihasilkan optimasi design antarmuka agar terlihat lebih menarik serta penambahan beberapa fitur untuk memudahkan pengguna saat menjalankan website. Selain itu, juga dilakukan optimasi terhadap informasi yang tercantum dalam website saat ini agar website lebih informatif. Hasil optimasi tersebut diuji dengan menggunakan metode A/B testing, yaitu dengan membandingkan design website yang lama dan setelah dilakukan optimasi. A/B testing dipilih karena dirasa paling sesuai dengan kondisi yang ada untuk menentukan apakah hasil optimasi yang dilakukan layak untuk dikembangkan atau tidak.
English Abstract
The development of technology has a significant impact on human life. One example is the number of educational institutions that implement technological advances, especially through the internet. The implementation is the use of a website-based company profile to make it easier for everyone to get information related to the school more easily and efficiently. This website-based company profile has also been implemented at SMK Ma'arif NU Mantup. Of course, making a websitebased company profile must be made attractive and informative. In the observations made by the author through competitive analysis and interviews with users, it was found that the current website of SMK Ma'arif NU Mantup still has several problems related to interface design, existing features, and content in it. From the problems obtained, it is necessary to optimize the website. In overcoming the existing problems, the design thinking method was chosen, because it was considered the most appropriate among other methods. From the application of the design thinking method, the resulting interface design optimization to make it look more attractive and the addition of several features to facilitate users when running the website. In addition, optimization was also carried out on the information listed on the current website to make the website more informative. The optimization results were tested using the A/B testing method, which is by comparing the old website design and after optimization. A/B testing was chosen because it is considered the most appropriate to the existing conditions to determine whether the results of the optimization carried out are feasible to develop or not
