Abstract

Sebagai salah satu kelompok pemangku kepentingan yang paling penting di sebuah destinasi pariwisata, penduduk sangat dipengaruhi oleh pengembangan pariwisata. Persepsi pariwisata mempengaruhi dukungan dan partisipasi mereka dalam pengembangan pariwisata, yang pada gilirannya mempengaruhi keberlanjutan pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Persepsi masyarakat terhadap pengembangan wellness tourism (2) Partisipasi masyarakat terhadap pengembangan wellness tourism (3) Persepsi dan partisipasi masyarakat terhadap pengembangan wellness tourism. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ekplanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Objek penelitian ini adalah wisata kesehatan di lingkungan secang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 183 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis linier berganda. Dengan hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa variabel Persepsi Masyarakat berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap pengembangan wellness tourism, variabel Partisipasi Masyarakat berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap pengembangan wellness tourism dan variabel Persepsi dan Partisipasi Masyarakat berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap Pengembangan Wellness Tourism.

English Abstract

As one of the most important stakeholder groups in a tourism destination, residents are highly influenced by tourism development. Perception of tourism affects their support and participation in tourism development, which in turn affects tourism sustainability. This study aims to determine (1) Community perception of wellness tourism development (2) Community participation in wellness tourism development (3) Community perception and participation in wellness tourism development. This study uses an explanatory research method with a quantitative approach. The object of this research is health tourism in the secang neighborhood. Data collection using questionnaires distributed to 183 respondents. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear analysis. The results showed that the Community Perception variable had a partially significant effect on the development of wellness tourism, the Community Participation variable had a partially significant effect on the development of wellness tourism and the Perception and Community Participation variables had a simultaneous significant effect on Wellness Tourism Development.
