Abstract
Budidaya tanaman padi di Indonesia dapat dibedakan sesuai tempat tumbuh tanaman, yakni padi sawah, padi lahan kering (padi gogo), dan padi rawa. Pengembangan budidaya padi gogo pada lahan kering merupakan alternatif strategis dalam rangka pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan nasional, karena potensi lahan kering yang cukup luas. Jarak tanam yang berbeda dapat mempengaruhi populasi tanaman pada lahan dan penerimaan efisiensi absorbsi energi matahari yang bertujuan untuk menunjang pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman juga berbedapada masing-masing jarak tanam dan perlakuan. Penelitian akan dilaksanakanpada bulan Agustus-Desember 2023. Percobaan dilakukan di Kebun PercobaanFakultas Pertanian, di Jatimulyo, Malang, Jawa Timur. Alat-alat yang akandigunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain Altimeter, Cultivator untuk pengolahlahan, Leaf Area Meter tipe LI-3100, knapsack sprayer electric, timbanganNict Voor tipe PS 1200, Oven Memmert tipe 21037 FNR, Bahan yang digunakanantara lain, benih padi gogo Inpago 13, mulsa jerami, mulsa plastik hitamperak, NPK majemuk (15:15:15), KCL, Ferthipos, dan Urea (46% N).
English Abstract
Rice cultivation in Indonesia can be classified based on the growingenvironment: irrigated rice (paddy), dryland rice (upland rice), and swamprice. Developing upland rice cultivation on dryland is a strategic alternative tomeet national food needs due to the vast potential of dryland areas. Different plantingdistances can affect the plant population in the field and the efficiency of sunlight absorption, which aims to support growth and yield. Each planting distance andtreatment yields different results.The research will be conducted fromAugust toDecember 2023. The experiment will take place at the Agricultural Faculty'sExperimental Garden in Jatimulyo, Malang, East Java. The tools to be used inthisstudy include an altimeter, cultivator for soil preparation, Leaf Area Meter typeLI-3100, electric knapsack sprayer, Ohaus VP612CN Voyager Pro ToploadingBalance 610G x 0.01g, 120V, Memmert oven type 21037 FNR, and a Realme664 MP camera. The materials to be used include Inpago 13 upland rice seeds, straw mulch, silver-black plastic mulch, compound NPK (15:15:15), KCL, Ferthipos, and Urea (46% N).
