Pengaruh Edukasi Self-Care Berbasis Website Terhadap Gejala Fisik Pada Pasien Gagal Jantung

Abstract

Pasien gagal jantung mengalami kelelahan serta kesulitan dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari akibat gejala fisik yang semakin memburuk sehingga menyebabkan penurunan kualitas hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh pemberian edukasi self-care berbasis website terhadap gejala fisik pada pasien gagal jantung. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasy experimental dengan menggunakan pretest-posttest with control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling menghasilkan sampel sebanyak 42 responden dengan 21 responden pada kelompok intervensi dan 21 responden pada kelompok kontrol. Kelompok intervensi menerima edukasi berbasis website sedangkan kelompok kontrol menerima edukasi melalui leaflet masing-masing selama 2 minggu. Kedua kelompok dilakukan pre-test dan post-test gejala fisik dengan menggunakan instrument Heart Failure Somatic Perception Scale (HFSPS). Data dianalisis menggunakan Paired t-test dengan α = 0.05 dan confidence interval = 95%. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor gejala fisik menurun dari 29.90±6.156 menjadi 25.19±5.066 setelah diberikan intervensi, dengan p-value = 0.000. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa edukasi self-care berbasis website secara signifikan mengurangi gejala fisik pada pasien gagal jantung.

English Abstract

Patients with heart failure experience fatigue and difficulties in performing daily activities due to progressively worsening physical symptoms, leading to a decline in their quality of life. This study aims to evaluate the effect of websitebased self-care education on the physical symptoms of heart failure patients. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group was employed. Non-probability sampling using a purposive sampling method resulted in a sample of 42 respondents, with 21 in the intervention group and 21 in the control group. The intervention group received website-based education, while the control group received education via leaflets over a period of two weeks. Both groups were given a pre-test and post-test on physical symptoms using the Heart Failure Somatic Perception Scale (HFSPS) instrument. Data were analyzed using a paired t-test with α = 0.05 and a 95% confidence interval. Results indicated that the average physical symptoms score decreased from 29.90 ± 6.156 to 25.19 ± 5.066 after the intervention, with a p-value of 0.000. Thus, it can be concluded that website-based selfcare education significantly reduces physical symptoms in heart failure patients.
