Abstract

Hadirnya teknologi informasi berupa internet merupakan aspek yang dapat diandalkan untuk melakukan inovasi dalam pengembangan teknologi yang dapat memudahkan manusia dalam beraktivitas. Sistem booking atau pemesanan yang dilakukan secara fisik atau datang langsung sudah tergeserkan oleh sistem yang dibuat secara online, sistem online ini memiliki tujuan untuk memudahkan pengguna dalam melakukan kegiatan registrasi pemesanan karena merasa lebih praktis, efektif, serta efisien. Pertumbuhan pengguna internet di zaman sekarang semakin berkembang, karena pengguna internet sudah mulai paham akan penggunaan internet sebagai sarana untuk memperoleh informasi dari berbagai macam sumber. Jangkauan internet yang luas juga sebagai pemicu utama dalam pertumbuhan pengguna, hal ini disebabkan oleh internet sudah mulai digunakan menjadi media promosi serta media untuk mempublikasikan informasi. Saat ini, proses pemesanan untuk antrean mahasiswa yudisum sudah beralih ke platform online. Dengan adanya sistem online ini, mahasiswa tidak perlu lagi datang secara lagi datang secara langsung ke kampus untuk mendaftarkan diri mereka dalam antrean yudisium. Maka dibuatlah sebuah sistem informasi pemesanan antrean untuk mahasiswa/i fakultas Vokasi Universitas Brawijaya yang akan melakukan yudisium berbasis website bernama “SIANTREUM”. Para mahasiswa cukup mengakses sistem yang telah disediakan, mengisi data yang diperlukan, memilih jadwal sesuai yang diinginkan dan tersedia. Hal ini tidak hanya menghemat waktu dan tenaga, tetapi juga mengurangi kerumitan administrasi dan meningkatkan efisiensi proses yudisium. Selain itu, sistem ini memungkinkan adanya transparansi dalam proses antrean dan membantu mengurangi risiko kesalahan manusia dalam pencatatan data. Ke depannya, diharapkan lebih banyak institusi pendidikan yang mengadopsi teknologi serupa untuk berbagai keperluan administrasi lainnya, sehingga dapat menciptakan lingkungan akademik yang lebih modern dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan zaman.

English Abstract

The presence of information technology in the form of the internet is a reliable aspect for innovation in technology development that can facilitate human activities. Booking or reservation system that were previously done phisically or by direct visits have been replaced by online systems. These online system aim to make it easier for users to carry out booking registrations because they are more practical, effective, and efficient. The growth of internet users nowadays is increasing, as people are becoming more familiar with using the internet as a means to obtain information from various sources. The wide reach of the internet is also a major factor in the growth of users, as the internet has begun to be used as a medium for promotion publication. Currently, the booking process for student graduation queues has shifted to an online platform. With this online system, student no longer need to come directly to the campus to register themselves in the graduation queue. Thus, an online queue booking information system for student of the Vocational Faculty of Brawijaya University, name “SIANTREUM”, was created. Student simply access the provided system, fill in the required data, and select the desired and available schedule. This not only saves time and effort but also reduces administrative complexity and increases the efficiency of the graduation process. Moreover, this system allows for transparency in the queuing process and helps reduces the risk of human error in data recording. In the future, it is hoped that more educational institutions will adopt similar technology for various other administrative purposes, thereby creating a more modern academic environment that is responsive to the needs of the times.
