Abstract
Mortalitas dan morbiditas akibat kanker paru masih tinggi dan terus meningkat, hal ini berhubungan kualitas hidup sehingga perlu diperhatikan keluhan, kondisi fisik, emosional maupun sosial. Pemeriksaan Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR), performance status dan uji jalan enam menit (six minutes walking test/ 6MWT) digunakan assessment tools kualitas hidup pasien.
English Abstract
Mortality and morbidity due to lung cancer is still high and continues to increase, this is related to quality of life so it is necessary to pay attention to complaints, physical, emotional and social conditions. Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR), performance status and six minute walking test (6MWT) are used as assessment tools for the patient's quality of life. In this study, we looked at the relationship between the quality of life of lung cancer patients and NLR and 6MWT. Methods: Cross sectional observational analytical study design on 45 lung cancer patients who completed the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Lung (FACT-L) questionnaire to assess quality of life, NLR and 6MWT examinations. Next, it was analyzed using chisquare to differentiate the two categories and correlation analysis using Spearman. Results: ROC results on the FACT-L questionnaire cut off point 76, with 12 patients (26.7%) poor quality of life and 33 patients (73.3%) good. In the analysis of quality of life with NLR, the results were not significantly related with a correlation coefficient value of 0.019 (p = 0.899), but there was a significant relationship between quality of life and 6MWT with a correlation coefficient value of 0.470 (p = 0.001). Conclusion: The quality of life of lung cancer patients can be seen from 6MWT, not NLR, this is due to many influencing factors such as stage, comorbidities and therapy given.
