Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di area studi “SD”, yang merupakan salah satu area prospektif di Sub-Cekungan Ciputat, Cekungan Jawa Barat Utara yang digencarkan untuk eksplorasi hidrokarbon. Terlebih lagi baru-baru ini ditemukan cadangan minyak yang cukup besar di salah satu sumur pada area studi dalam reservoar batugamping di Formasi Cibulakan Bawah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan area prospek hidrokarbon yang diidentifikasi berdasarkan karakterisasi reservoar dari distribusi Vp/Vs ratio menggunakan metode multi-atribut seismik. Parameter Vp/Vs ratio dipilih berdasarkan hasil feasibility study yang mengidentifikasi bahwa parameter ini sensitif dalam memisahkan reservoar dan nonreservoar. Metode multi-atribut yang digunakan merupakan metode multi-atribut regresi linear. Adapun dengan menggunakan metode multi-atribut seismik ini dapat dipisahkan dengan baik indikasi zona reservoar dan non-reservoar pada area studi. Hasil analisis multi-atribut dikatakan baik didasarkan pada korelasi yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 0,63 dengan diterapkan 6 atribut seismik. Berdasarkan peta distribusi Vp/Vs ratio dari hasil slicing dapat diidentifikasi bahwa zona reservoar berada pada nilai Vp/Vs ratio di bawah 1,8 unitless yang ditandai dengan warna hijau. Dari peta slicing diketahui bahwa indikasi keberadaan reservoar berada pada bagian barat laut (NW) dan menyebar ke selatan (S) dan tenggara (SE) pada area studi. Deliniasi patahan pada area studi “SD” juga dilakukan sebagai indikasi jebakan hidrokarbon, yang salah satunya terdapat pada bagian barat laut (NW). Hasil Vp/Vs ratio yang rendah, keberadaan patahan turun, dan ketidakberadaan sumur pada bagian barat laut tersebut menjadi prospek yang baik untuk pengembangan area prospek eksplorasi hidrokarbon kedepannya.

English Abstract

This research was conducted in the "SD" study area, which is one of the prospective areas in the Ciputat Sub-Basin, North West Java Basin, targeted for hydrocarbon exploration. Furthermore, a significant oil reserve was recently discovered in one of the wells in the study area within the limestone reservoir of the Lower Cibulakan Formation. The purpose of this research is to develop hydrocarbon prospect areas identified based on reservoir characterization from the distribution of the Vp/Vs ratio using the multi-attribute seismic method. The Vp/Vs ratio parameter was chosen based on the results of a feasibility study that identified this parameter as sensitive in distinguishing between reservoir and non-reservoir zones. The multiattribute method used is the multi-attribute linear regression method. By using this multi-attribute seismic method, indications of reservoir and non-reservoir zones in the study area can be well separated. The results of the multi-attribute analysis are considered good, based on the correlation obtained, which is 0.63 with the application of 6 seismic attributes. Based on the Vp/Vs ratio distribution map from the slicing results, it can be identified that the reservoir zone is located at a Vp/Vs ratio value below 1.8 unitless, marked in green. From the slicing map, it is known that the indication of reservoir presence is in the northwest (NW) and spreads to the south (S) and southeast (SE) of the study area. Fault delineation in the "SD" study area was also carried out as an indication of hydrocarbon traps, one of which is located in the northwest (NW). The low Vp/Vs ratio results, the presence of a normal fault, and the absence of wells in the northwest area make it a good prospect for future hydrocarbon exploration area development.
