Abstract
Rumah merupakan kebutuhan dasar yang sangat penting selain sandang dan pangan, dan sering dijadikan indikator keberhasilan seseorang serta aset ekonomi. Namun, masalah perumahan tidak layak huni masih banyak ditemui, termasuk di Kabupaten Kotawaringin Barat, Kalimantan Tengah. Dinas Perumahan Rakyat dan Kawasan Pemukiman (DISPERKIM) Kabupaten Kotawaringin Barat memiliki program bantuan rumah tidak layak huni untuk membantu masyarakat. Saat ini, pelaksanaan program tersebut masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan Excel dan penyimpanan dokumentasi di harddisk, yang menyebabkan berbagai masalah seperti kesulitan dalam penginputan data, pencarian data, koreksi data, serta risiko kehilangan data. Oleh karena itu, penulis tertarik untuk mengembangkan "Sistem Informasi Rumah Tidak Layak Huni (SIRUTILAHU)" berbasis website di DISPERKIM Kabupaten Kotawaringin Barat. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah proses penginputan, pencarian, dan koreksi data, serta meminimalisir kesalahan dan kehilangan data, sehingga meningkatkan efektivitas pelaksanaan program bantuan rumah tidak layak huni.
English Abstract
Housing is a basic and essential need alongside clothing and food, and it is often considered an indicator of an individual's success and an economic asset. However, the issue of inadequate housing remains prevalent, including in the Kotawaringin Barat Regency, Central Kalimantan. The Department of Housing and Settlement Areas (DISPERKIM) of Kotawaringin Barat Regency has a program to provide assistance for inadequate housing to help the community. Currently, the implementation of this program is still done manually using Excel and documentation stored on hard drives, leading to various issues such as difficulties in data entry, data retrieval, data correction, and the risk of data loss. Previous research has shown that a web-based information system can help address these problems. Therefore, the author is interested in developing a "Housing Information System for Inadequate Housing (SIRUTILAHU)" based on a website for DISPERKIM in Kotawaringin Barat Regency. This system is expected to facilitate the processes of data entry, data retrieval, and data correction, as well as minimize errors and data loss, thereby increasing the effectiveness of the inadequate housing assistance program.
