Abstract
Video musik merupakan sebuah genre film pendek yang mengiringi sebuah lagu atau musik yang dapat berfungsi untuk sarana visualisasi makna dari sebuah lagu. Dalam pembuatan video musik, mise en scene sangatlah penting. Mise en scene dapat memperkuat penggambaran makna sebuah lagu melalui video musik. Dengan menggunakan unsur – unsur dari mise en scene representasi video musik pada sebuah lagu akan terlihat. Hal ini disebabkan karena tiap unsur memiliki makna dan saling menunjang satu sama lain untuk memberitahukan makna dan maksud dari video musik yang ingin disampaikan oleh sutradara.
English Abstract
Music video is a genre of short film that accompanies a song or music that can serve as a means of visualizing the meaning of a song. In making music videos, mise en scene is very important. Mise en scene can reinforce the depiction of the meaning of a song through music videos. By using elements of the mise en scene, the representation of the music video on a song will be visible. This is because each element has meaning and supports each other to tell the meaning and intent of the music video that the director wants to convey.
