Abstract

Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan traktor tangan di Kecamatan Pinogu, Kabupaten Bone Bolango, Provinsi Gorontalo, dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis Bayes. Pertanyaan penelitian mencakup kondisi umum Kecamatan Pinogu, sistem mekanisasi pertanian di Desa Pinogu, kebutuhan dan ketersediaan traktor tangan, implementasi metode Bayes dalam pemilihan traktor tangan yang tepat, dan analisis kelayakan ekonomi pertanian pada produksi padi di kecamatan Pinogu. Metode penelitian menggunakan survey purposive sampling, wawancara, dan analisis dengan metode Bayes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi infrastruktur jalan di Kecamatan Pinogu buruk, menghambat aksesibilitas dan mobilitas masyarakat serta pertumbuhan ekonomi wilayah. Tingkat mekanisasi pertanian di Desa Pinogu masih rendah, namun penggunaan traktor tangan memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas pertanian. Dikarenakan ketersediaan traktor tangan masih belum memadai, sehingga diperlukan penambahan jumlah traktor tangan dan peningkatan ketersediaan tenaga kerja. Implementasi metode Bayes menunjukkan bahwa traktor tangan jenis Quick Boxer G1000 memiliki keunggulan dibandingkan Yanmar Bromo Pro V2. Penggunaan traktor roda dua dalam usahatani padi sawah di Desa Pinogu memberikan dampak positif secara ekonomi, dengan peningkatan pendapatan usahatani dan R/C Ratio yang lebih tinggi. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman tentang pentingnya mekanisasi pertanian dan pemilihan traktor yang tepat dalam meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian di wilayah pedesaan. Saran untuk penelitian lanjutan termasuk peningkatan infrastruktur, pengembangan koperasi pertanian, dan analisis lebih lanjut tentang potensi sentra padi organik

English Abstract

This thesis aims to optimize the use of hand tractors in Pinogu District, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province, using a Bayesian analysis approach. The research questions cover the general conditions of Pinogu District, the mechanization system of agriculture in Pinogu Village, the demand and availability of hand tractors, the implementation of the Bayesian method in selecting the appropriate hand tractor, and the economic feasibility analysis of rice production in Pinogu District. The research methodology employs purposive sampling surveys, interviews, and Bayesian analysis. The findings indicate that the road infrastructure conditions in Pinogu District are poor, hindering the accessibility and mobility of the community as well as regional economic growth. The level of agricultural mechanization in Pinogu Village is still low, but the use of hand tractors has the potential to enhance agricultural efficiency and productivity. However, the availability of hand tractors is still inadequate, necessitating an increase in the number of hand tractors and the availability of labor. The implementation of the Bayesian method shows that the Quick Boxer G1000 hand tractor has advantages over the Yanmar Bromo Pro V2. The use of two-wheel tractors in wetland rice farming in Pinogu Village has a positive economic impact, with increased agricultural income and a higher R/C Ratio. Thus, this research contributes to understanding the importance of agricultural mechanization and the selection of appropriate tractors in enhancing agricultural productivity in rural areas. Suggestions for further research include improving infrastructure, developing agricultural cooperatives, and further analysis of the potential for organic rice centers
